  • Really, makes me cry...

  • you ron paul and whatever else fags should know this much. no one man is going to bring about change let alone a politician. even if there was one trying to he'd be killed just like JFK and lincon and many others were. if there's going to be change it has to be millions. hundreds of millions even billions! how will they continue to rule the world if the whole world is against them. they can't that's why they keep people dumb and oblivious its the only way thay can control us.

  • @XlightninX

So stop posting on youtube and go do something about it.

  • @XlightninX Everything starts out as a single thought from a person. Then the person gives that thought words. And with words and that single person those billions may find the driving force to change things. At least that's the thought of this madman.

  • @XlightninX

If the people wouldn't need leadership to do so, democracy would work. If the people wouldn't need leadership to do anything, they would not be deceived by corruption.

  • Exactly the opposite

He wants to cut the more than 20,000$ the government takes from the average person yearly.

so if anything he wants raise YOUR standard of living.

  • @krytek

Where do you think the money goes to? And who really pays it?

Check out the national taxpayer union. This might be an unpopular fact, but 47% does not even pay any income taxes. The quality of life of the poor is being sustained by taxation of the rich. Plans to cut taxes will ONLY benefit the wealthy. No matter how many emotional tirades you can give me about generic corruption, it does not change the IRS data. If anything you should increase taxes.

  • = Ron Paul

  • @krytek Ron Paul is a huge corperate shill. The only change he's interested in is making life better for millionaires and billionaires.

  • This is played in the 9th inning of losing ballgames in my city :D

  • this epix speech gives me goosebumps

  • One day we will all be united. We will not have to be hungry or thirsty. We will not have to spend all our waking hours working to live. We will not have to make hard choices because our leaders will know better what to choose for us with the expanding consciousness of the world wide web of knowledge. One day we will all be truly equal. (and we will all be spineless sludge, but if you're OK with that, it shouldn't be a problem.)

  • @bedwettingliberal

Going by your satire it seems you're more in favor of a parliamentary democracy than a republican state where you entrust a single guy to represent everybody to another single guy who's supposed to represent every state, cutting out those "tough decisions"

    OH WAIT YOU'RE AN AMERICAN!

  • @CorporateG0th Not sure what content your message has. I think representative government is an easily manipulable fiction. Also, I'm not aware of a republican state where a single guy is all powerful, or whatever it is you're trying to get across.

I favor only true authority to govern, and that is the authority of the individual to govern his own affairs.

  • @bedwettingliberal

    Are you hinting at anarchism?

  • @CorporateG0th A little stronger than a hint, wasn't it?

But true anarchy, not "anarchy" for the purpose of destroying our social order to replace it with communism. And true anarchy requires one thing above all else: decent quality people. Why is that not what we're striving for?

  • @bedwettingliberal

The true anarchy you think of is a socialist utopia. An actual true anarchy would lack any sort of system, particularly a system so comprehensive as to encompass all citizens. A true anarchy is devoid of nations, citizens, public services, healthcare, currency and all the other institutions that necessitate the forming of societies (the anathema to anarchy)

Furthermore, to believe that even with decent people you will _never_ require law to settle disputes is extremely naive.

  • @bedwettingliberal

This overly simplistic worldview where you believe that everyone will never require such institutions, even with divorces, murky inheritances, territory disputes, comparative wealth and so forth leads me to suspect that you are not in the position to be ridiculing anybody here.

  • @bedwettingliberal

To top it off, I feel one particular mention in your comment warrants a seperate response - you say you need decent people. Anarchy, by nature lacking any form of institution and particularly societal systems, means that you do not have any people. You have neighboring sovereigns. Everyone would be a one-man army by its definition. Once again, if you believe that the "decent people" would enforce eachother come tough times, you are talking about a socialist system.

  • @CorporateG0th Pardon, but I was under the impression that I had a right to form whatever alliances, coalitions, foundations, gangs, whatever you want to call them, and would continue to do so in an anarchic circumstance. And I agree that you need a neutral arbiter for the kinds of disputes you mentioned. That is not even at odds with anarchy. "Anarchy" may require a framework within which we work, but the framework should usually be invisible and practically nonexistent.

  • @bedwettingliberal

Yes but what I mean is that the creation of alliances, the introduction of arbiters and formation of a framework by its definition rule out anarchy. And all of these are necessary.

I wasn't opposing you, I was merely pointing this out. Yes, the policies you hint at mostly take after a socialist system. One with a strong national cohesion, which once again invalidates any notion of an anarchy. And IMO, this is precisely what we need yes.

  • @CorporateG0th "Every man for himself" is not at all socialist, and that is all I want. You take care of you. I'll take care of me. If you're in dire need and it suits me, I might help you out. But if you try to form organizations to take from me because you're in "need" or for whatever reason, if you want to play this game of "I'll do whatever I want," then let's play. You may find I want to do much more heinous things.

  • @bedwettingliberal

As far as socialism goes, you equate this with a "welfare state." These are not the same. Social policy implies a safety net, and more importantly the investment in its citizens so they can flourish and return the favor. Investments do not equate sustenance of poverty.

More than anything socialism is an economic model, and under the flag of socialist policy, I would for example be for nationalized education and healthcare, but against welfare checks. It's a shitty investment.

  • @bedwettingliberal

And I thought I should note that this safety net does not need to equate welfare checks either. I would be thinking along the lines of unemployment benefit, which is a good thing - it runs out but while it lasts, it allows for a transition to another job without you losing your home. Welfare however is a fruitless endeavor.

  • @CorporateG0th Mainly I find it repugnant that we have a system that exists for its own benefit, disconnected from the actual will of the people. Our system encourages overreaching by some, while punishing an appropriate response by others, again for its own benefit. If you feed the bear, it will get big and break out of its cage. The bear needs to be beaten and starved nearly to death.

  • Awesome. R.I.P. 10 Years.

  • IM A HUMAN BEING GOD DAMN IT, that touched me. :/

  • 1976 speech and it's describes exactly life in 2011

  • @eazymindz That's because the only thing that's really changed since then is how the "authority" keeps us distracted. We're still in the same shit situation, we just have a steady influx of shiny new things to waste our time while our world burns around us.

  • @eazymindz true

  • U mad?

  • @MrMedic8 no, u mad? your account is gone.

  • Im mad.

  • Great clip!

  • I don't want you to protest, I want you to get mad !!

  • Sends chills down my spine... Amazing speech and so true especially these days where everything is falling apart around us and we must stand up and shout. I'm Greek and I'm really tired of all this crisis bullshit because some "elite class" motherfuckers wants us to live like slaves. I wish all of my people felt this way...

  • I WATCH THIS OVER AND OVER. All the words he says: I think. All the feelings rushing through me I contemplate. Familiarity often breeds contempt, but......not this kind. This makes me mad, motivated, and powerful.

  • @timothyforvendetta you are fucking retarded

sitting watching a youtube video over and over is never going to get you out of your house.. wow i hate people like you.. thinking that watching a video about a revolution makes you part of it somehow lol

news flash: stuff like this is created to appeal to an audience who feel powerless and oppressed.. it's not designed to change your life and it never will. it's tailored to your interests to make you identify with it and KEEP WATCHING IT

    epic fail

  • @genericity thanks!

  • @genericity Wait, how should I then look at your comment? Are you trying to appeal to me right now? I keep going back to read your comment over and over and it is APPEALING TO ME. Do people do the same things with books? Is that why I like them so much? You said this didn't change my life? How do you know? OMG ARE YOU WATCHING ME?

  • @genericity You don't seem to grasp the power of the internet.

It makes people realize they are not alone.

And when you are not alone, it's easier to take action.

That's not just words, it is happening as we speak. People first getting together on internet... and then taking real life action together.

Calling people retarded and trying to demoralize them isn't going to stop it.

  • Glenn Beck wishes he was this guy.

  • The inspiration of Bill O'Reilly.

  • That's what I say when:

When Youtube keeps changing their layouts.

Finding out Hollywood continues to make horrible remakes.

Playing a game and finding a glitch that makes it virtually unplayable.

Seeing a comic with a great cover and finding out the artwork and story is shitty.

Seeing more crappy cartoons being shown in out generation.

Having to wait for my DVD to get past the trailors and FBI warnings.

I say those words and just as loud. xD
