mb keep your opinion to yourself a 335i is better then a e46 m3. it has way more potential and with a few simple cheap tunes it will leave the m3 in the dust in every aspect. and both cars are not equally the same i remmber the 335i being turbo , and m3 being N/A.

If you havent owned an M car, really you have no say. The M3 is an amazing vehicle, and yes while the 335I can be much faster in a straight line, remember that the M3 was never designed for that. The M3 is a track car, and was never designed to be spanking cars in a straight line.

I like the 335I, im actually considering getting one, but in my eyes, an E46 M3 will always get my attention over a dime a dozen 335i

nothing beats the look of the e46 M3; a truly aggressive/sport/dont mess around look

the 335's look is more daily/cruising/comfy look

plus, the e46 is 10 times sharper in curves and in drift; no wonder the new e90 M3's suspension is derived at 50%+ from the e46 M3

uh no. Car and Driver tested the last generation M3 to be 5.0 seconds FLAT to 60. The new 335i COUPE ran a best time of 4.8, .2 sec quicker than last M3. END OF STORY

roy, this video is just comparing straight line acceleration, nothing more.

the 335i performance IS pretty impressive, a tuned chip (procede, about $2-3k) and then see how much BANG you get for your BUCK. It would smoke the m3 by far with about 400hp and be nearly 20k cheaper, and 10k less than the e46 msrp when it first came out. Now thats efficient forced air induction high end performance!

On the track however, the M3 is still king.

A turbo vs NA..??? All 335i owner, plz don't think the 335i is fast. It is just that turbo to make it little close to an M3 or slight better. Anyway, you cannot compare turbo and NA. Go ahead and try to race with a 350Z turbo or G35 turbo, or a GTR to see how fast is your 335i.

GTR? In case you havent noticed yet the GTR's turbos are as big as it gets, 335i has two tiny turbos to eliminate lag. Also makes 180hp less than the GTR. Go ahead turbo a 350Z, they're not that fast compared to a supercharged E46 M3. If a 335i owner read this, they would just say Procede or Dinan time.

even procede 335i cannot beat a stock GT-R. I have no idea why all 335i owner dreaming their cars are superfast. That is only a E92/E90 330i engine with a cheap twin turbo charge. Weired ! Completely wrong! Go read BMW documentation. They are equally sized turbos. Both are very small. They do not run sequentially, but each turbo feeds 3 cylinders in parallel.
