  • @deafculture17 I just googled it and wow! I wish my hearing was good enough that I could use one of those. I use a power aid, the loudest there is, so it's huge. lol

  • @deafculture17 What is an "open fit" aid?

  • im getting a hearing aid mold done on thursday. watching this video has put my mind at ease. i thought it might hert. thank you

  • @LLOYD19851012 You are very welcome. :) First they will put a tiny piece of cotton in your ear, deep in, with a string attached, then put in the putty and viola! It actually feels really good. Let me know how your experience goes.

  • @RiverBirch1967 got my hearing aids yesturday. the molding was not as bad as i thought it would be. it was acturally nice. i can't tell you how much they have changed the way i hear the world. i am so much happier now. thank you for your support. best of luck to you for the future

  • @LLOYD19851012 Yay! I'm so happy and thank you for letting me know how they turned out. Good luck to you as well and hears to hearing better!

  • That's fascinating, I had no idea of the procedure. The putty mold kind of reminds me of polyfiller used to fill cracks in walls etc...if you know what I mean lol. Did it feel good? Did you get a bowl of icecream afterwards? You know my tonsils story. :)

  • @sainter1 It is really a good feeling. Very smooth and cool. I like getting them.

  • I actually did that to get ear plugs since I get ear infections so easily. I'm supposed to wear them anytime I go in water (bath, shower, etc) but I don't.

  • @VioletKitty411 Girlfriend, do what you are told! :P

  • wow cool!

  • @DawndeeDALLAS Totally!

  • @gemycat hehehe

  • I always found earbuds for portable sound systems terribly uncomfortable... Here's the solution!

  • @fehquig There you go, fehquig, there you go!

  • Wow...I had no idea that they were molded like that. That is something!

  • @PaintedRavensong It is very interesting. You leave it in your ear about 5 minutes and then it takes about 5 minutes to 'set' once they take it out. Feels so good, too, all cool and smooth.

  • Eww, that looks all kinds of gross and uncomfortable! How does it feel when they do that?!!!

  • @unrequited2 It actually feels absolutely wonderful. The putty is cool and smooth and nice. It is soothing and feelings really good.

  • hehe i love the end oh sorry we got some wax too..hehe

I bet that felt funny huh...

  • @ralanizjr ROFL!!! I know! I'm like oh geez. But it feels really good getting it done. The putty is cool and smooth and soft. It feels very good in the ear.

  • Ohhhh new molds coming up!!! Can't wait to see how it looks, when will it be ready?

  • @seekgeo Two weeks! yay! I wanted baby blue but decided to go ahead with normal.

  • RiverBirch1967,

Aww.. I used to have blue ones back in late 1990's and it was very loud blue. People can see 'em 3 miles away.

  • @seekgeo Know what I want? One of those shiny new hearing aid covers. Like race-car hearing aids!!!!!

  • You were such a good girl to sit still. Where's your lolly?

  • @oldvision LOL Yes I was a very good girl. Forget the lolly, I want a margarita.
