I don't understand why these bloody people seem to think Dudley couldn't stand the site of Peter? This is typical British behavior of two drunken, ranting friends. Friends! Why can't people see this? Stop analyzing everything, pour a large glass of scotch, light a fag and listen to all of their work. If I don't make to laugh, you must be dead inside,
@colour10 Your right it feels like an Open University Psychology seminar with some of the comment that have been made here. And your right this is typical of when two drunken Brits get together and talk about life. I myself when I'm listening to Derek and Clive useually have a glass or two of whisky, it gets me in the mood.
@colour10 'sight' not site you ignoramus. 'If I dont make to laugh'???? Were you trying to write in English? Another sad American who does his great country and wonderful people no justice.
At 6:58 what is Dudley eating?

Without Dudley Moore Peter Cook was just not funny. Dudley was far more talented really and I don't think Peter could probably handle that.
But together they were great.

@colour10 It was a love that destroyed...Pete, to me, shows a love that he cannot bring close. It hurts to see. I'm not analysing it, i'm feeling it.
I got a vodka, a fag and my heart is full.
Love Pete and Dud, Derek and Clive...in the Greek tradition of a fine line between tragedy and comedy.

I never knew any of this! I only discovered Peter Cook in 2009 Nov (looking up Richard the III in Blackadder 1 - this was really intense).
I heard Peter did eventually apologise to Dudley before his death...
So strange - a genius of a comic like Peter Cook totally hid his real life...
