The Black Album is a solid metal record. Some real good songs on that album. It propelled them into a super sucessful band. They toured for like 3 plus years on that album. No band in their prime can play that period of time and play 2 1/2 hr shows every night.

The footage is excellent (camera into the pit which swims in a sea composed of legs,arms ...).Fans totally crazy!Divine intervention tour is my favorite period the more aggressive!Compared to this, footages on other slayer's video are boring( still reigning,war at the w. ...)

I just think skill doesnt mean shredding on the guitar notes as fast as you can, im just talking about composition. what sounds good is different from skill(for eg James Hetfield is probably a better 'singer' nowadays but ofcourse we loved him when he fucken screamed!) if you get me. it is still just my opinion though. and by the way i do play guitar and have been playing for last 6 years.

And for my money Slayer does everything better (for my taste) except ballads... and that's simply because they don't do them. Decade of Aggression (along with Death's Individual Thought Patterns) is the Greatest album of all time. Certainly the best Live album Ever

@rudoggg Jeff is an amazing guitarist, i know he shredds alot but he also is amazing at song structures, Angel of death, 213, Mandatory suicide ect are all Jeff's work. He can construct great songs. But he's more off a speed guy with the solo's though he can make some really good ones (Antichrist, Gemini ect).

I agree next to Hell Awaits this album is unbelieveable. Bostaph claims to hate the drum sound but I've always thought it was quite good. I mean...to come in and try to make people forget about Lombardo is rediculous but I think he did an admirable job. They are both great skinsman
