Wing Fortress zone. Evil for first time players. Those platforms that shoot you across the screen, first time playing, must've had a few lives left and dies on that platform all of those times.

Sky Chase has been and always will be my favorite. It was also the ending theme, or at least a variation of it. Sonic 2 had the best final stages music I've heard in any game, in my opinion. That's meaning all together. Sky Chase, the flying fortress, and the end stage combined with the ending theme.

My fave was hydrocity act 2. Awesome tune. Sandopolis, flyin battery, sonic 2 endin. green hills are amoung them too. But im a big fan of the sonic soundtrack, love them all.

I can understand what you mean... I think I could have done a top 10 only with the sonic the hedgehog 2 sountrack because I think this game is the best on every aspect there is... but I had to take out some songs to make sure I have some of every game ! For Flying Battery Zone... it's in my top 15, don't worry about that :P

I knew that Michael Jackson and his team worked on every sonic the hedgehog 3 and sonic & knuckles songs but I'm not sure Ice cap zone was taken from one of his song.

Maybe if someone could do a little research, that would be nice !
