Does the Boss SD-1 do a good job of tightening up the high gain tones on the TM60? I have a TM10 and find the high gain tones to be loose and bassy.

he's playing octave on the guitar, this is why this sound like an octaver, it does the same thing, only tha one is a pedal, the other a way of playing like power chords
