@sunmotor1000 Me too. Ya know it just dawned on me that those two may've been what started Herbie from the love bug too. Why were all the mAGICAL cars bugs back then? Later we got the T-top KITT and the Delorian BTTF. But it was fun while they were alive. How about that for a new remake? Would a car super hero do as well as Batman or Spiderman in theaters? LOL The love bug did at one time.

John-Anthony Bailey was great on this show and as Sticks on "Happy Days". But he fell on hard times and ended up appearing in adult films.  I am not joking. You can look this up on imdb. He died of bladder cancer a few years ago and was buried in a mass grave.

I remember I was obsessed with this show when I was 7 years old. I was staying with my grandparents that winter break and I remember talking about Wonderbug with them. I also recall making noises like Schlep Car in school.

For some reason I remember an episode of this that had Don Sutton, who was pitching for the Dodgers at the time, in it. I think at the end of the episode he threw a cherry at the "bad guy", (already cuffed?), because for some reason the guy had whipped cream or something on his nose & of course the cherry landed perfectly in the center of whatever was on his nose. Does any one remember this?

It came on when I was due to leave the house. I was a latch key kid that had to leave on my own and I couldn't tear myself away. LOL Too bad they didn't air these after school like they do kids shows morning and afternoon now.
