1.)es war damals völlig unüblich, in veranstaltungen eines tv-senders rumzuhopsen. heute würde man sogar auf stühlen hocken.

2.)man hat generell sehr viel intensiver musik mit dem kopf aufgenommen, als mit dem arsch

3.) die musik war zwar schön einfallsreich, aber zu der zeit nicht der drogentrip, als der er heute hingestellt wird. anders gesagt, solche musik war für das publikum nichts ungewöhnliches.

Going back to your original comment, I think you can like things that are "random" - check out Talking Heads "I Zimbra" or singers like Flora Purim. Can't understand a word they're saying, which is kind of funny. In terms of Can, it's in-between, you get some words, others no. Anyways do you really need to understand things to like them?

I saw the Damo Suzuki Network here in Seattle, back in `98 Karoli was there too. The second set, they started off with the first part of Peking-O and segued into this. INCREDIBLE. The opening act accompanied them with their sound effects. Both bands were excellent. Happy to have had the chance to catch Karoli, before he left our world.

I saw Jessamine around 1997 open up for Holger when he was touring his techno show with his lady U-She. She sang her stuff and a couple Velvet Underground tunes with Holger and some musicians backing her, then he did his thing, with her, and Jessamine opened that night. The Damo show was around the next year. I forget who the guys I mentioned in my other post were, weren't Jessamine. This was a duo. Weren't bad, just the name escapes me now.
