If he really wanted to be like Reagan he would copy his middle east foreign policy and pull out! Reagan pulled out of Beirut after the bombing so Newt should be advocating pulling out of Iraq & Afghanistan. But he doesn't really want to be like Reagan, he just wants to have the same popularity Reagan had. And who wants to be like Reagan anyways, he was a terrible president. He was a scandalous lier who got credit for ending the cold war even though he had nothing to do with it, and prolonged it.
