WOW fucked up when trying to combat SWTOR by releasing cataclysm and the only reason mists of pandaria has been announced now was to bring some WOW players back because cataclysm changed the world in a way nobody liked and made it to easy and a kids game so that's why people are saying SWTOR is going to beat WOW (it is). the only people saying it wont are kids who joined when cataclysm was releases and the most hard core WOW players. I use to have WOW account for 2 years so I'm not a troll.

Not to crush ppls hope but the game is well balance where its not just jedi and sith that make up the only classes ppl play agents and smuglers call down aerial bombardments while bounty hunters and troopers have a plethra of skills and abilities that can stop a jedi/sith before they get close so in no shape or form is this game a lightsaber beats all for anyone that was questioning that or wondering how they were gonna prevent the jedi and sith classes from being the only classes ppl use

@TheVerinen2 Actually, there are tactical elements with all classes, so no one class will be better than the others. In fact, Bioware has already considered what you stated will be a problem, so they added extra stuff to the other classes to prevent stuff like that. Bounty hunters FTW!

Sidious' Empire is influenced by their empire but it's philosophy is based off the Rule of 2 Sith created by Darth Bane. Hope that helps

The system requirements' aren't that high. If you own a computer that's about 4 or 5 years old you should be able to run the game just fine. Maybe not on the highest settings, but you should be able to run it.

@themarathonEFFECT Not entirely so. The (Warzone) instance pvp is similar to WoW, however the Open World PvP is similar to the RvR lakes with Objectives like DAoC and WAR. OWPvP is constant with no timers, No player limits and has very rare and valuable resources that for crafting can be obtained from OWPvP if you successfully capture all 5 base points on Illum. hope that helps

Dumb comment, roll PVP server and let there be PvP. It IS players who let WPVP die not BGs. Sure if WPVP is not rewarding you with much then you will do Instanced PVP but sitll. If you want you have WPVP available if you roll on a PVP server.

You should have the option to go "OVERT" (thats an SWG term), you probably play WoW so in your case its "FLAG" for pvp. There is no crime or foul in players having the option to quickly sandbox a location of their choice to enable full blown pvp. The reward in this is pride, bragging rights, guild recognition. How can you disagree to that bro?

True skill is knowing to master your class and be a good asset to your team and good leader too. If you can master all forms of PvP then that is skill.

Skill is in Arenas, BGs, WPVP etc...

1:12 "the galaxy's future will soon be decided." Really, in an MMO... I bet the only thing that's decided is how willing you are to put up with hitting a guy with a lightsaber in the face and chest and not dropping him but instead chipping away at his hit points. Then after completing quest after quest... there will be no political change... nothing will get resolved and it will all boil down to an endless gear and stat tweakathon for in game bragging rights. Looks like a cool game though.
