I have NEVER had the honour of seeing Neil live. I am so proud that my daughter HAS. "Keep on Rockin' in the free world" Neil. Those of you who have too, are very lucky. Cheers
DO It! He's worth every accolade he's received. Always fresh and alive. Priveliged enough to have seen him with many bands, many venues. All dear, fond memories. Long may you run.
What a gift Neil has bestowed upon us. I am SO glad I was here when he was. Another fabulous gift was when my 22 year old daughter actually went and saw him last year, kudos Neil! You have bridged the generations with you timeless creations. She called me from Calgary, 1500 miles away, during Old man, I just put the speaker phone on and tears ran down my face until it ended and she just perfectly ended the call. I play and play alot of Neil and our children grew up listening to "Old Man" thru me
another thing with Neil concerts - 3 to 4 (now) generations of fans! Grandpas and ma's all the way to the newborns. It's absolutely wonderful... what a consistent force he has been since entering into our lives. Obvious in it's absence, he never sang about the generation gap, like so many of his contemporaries, and look who's still standing!
@Jjjj2828 You did a great job with your kids!!! When I taught my kids to rock n roll we would play Keep On Rockin' In the Free World, Cortez the Killer and so on. We went to see Neil do Greendale too! But about the time they turned 18 they discovered Pantera, Metallica and now Neil, Jimi and myself are hacks compared to John Petrucci, Dimebag and the like...They won't even jam with me until I rehearse for a week first... Neil sounds tired ...He should retire or do some death metal and wake up!
Great song, there are better versions of himself playing this in the 1970's, one from BBC in particular, but, whatever. Thanks so much for posting this, though.

waw what a gay little outburst. Suck it up and wipe the tears from your eyes you girl.
You assumed that I don't like Neil Young because you're an ass. He was good in his day but he's struggling like fuck now and he should rap it in. End of chat
Greendale is a cool album. Prairie wind was a really strong album; Living with War was ropey but still had the fire. Chrome Dreams II was uneven but had some gems on it.
He's still releasing good stuff as far as I'm concerned.
einfach nur genial....er hat nichts von seiner ausstrahlung verloren

My hero and favorite artist. This is such a poetic song. He is appearing where I live but the cheapest tickets were 200!

Neil just doesn't know how to suck!
On his worst night... we would still stand amazed.
This song, and this artist got me past a bunch of dark times.
Long may he run.

Neil Young. One of the greatest singer-songwriters in the history of popular music. Canada's greatest ,no doubt about that

It doesn't get any better than Neil. His music is like a window directly into his soul. Pure and honest.

Does Neil still use that Martin with the MARTIN
inlaid in the head stock.. I've seen Neils use this guiat for this song in the 70's.
Think it actually belonged to Stills.. No not the D45,,this is a 1948 D28 I think..anyone shed some light please.
Thanks
