I've had my ring finger broken at the joint (it twisted around) and I've snapped my big toe in half just below the joint (left foot).

you took that reset like a champ. they couldn't do anything for mine but immobilize them with a splint and a boot respectively.

I cut my right thumb on a outdoor bbq when I was 2 1/2 years old...I got three stitches, its shorter and fatter...I almost needed surgery. When I was 18, I went to a plastic surgeon to see if they can fix my thumb like my left, but they couldn't since the growth plate shut. :[

I just did it last week broke 2 bones in my wrist and dislocated my wrist bone mine was so bad they put me under and put it back into place and then the next appointment for my 2nd cast in my life the bone wasent stright same thing but worse had to get mine snapped back into place while awake ouch it hurt

@33blb It's funny, I always said the same thing. I had never broken a bone, and I always wanted to know what it was like. It really wasn't that bad! I'm glad it happened honestly. Good story to tell :)

i cant believe u were awake when he set it. when i broke my arm durring a basketball game, they put me to sleep for like 5 min while they set it. i didnt get my hard cast until 2 weeks after i broke it.

@BeaverTwin123 They wanted to give me some meds to numb me but I hate needles. I figured breaking it hurt pretty bad and that nothing could hurt worse. So I told him to just do it. And WOW. Hurt way more than I expected lol should've taken the meds

When I broke my wrist I didn't get my cast immediatly either, but when I did he told me to lay back while he examined my wrist so as I was laying down he popped it back into place so I wouldn't "notice"....

i broke my wrist on saturday night there whilst i was ice skating, so i went to the hospital and waited for 3 hours, they took an x-ray and said nothing was broken but considering my wrist was hanging off! now i'm wearing brown sticky thing with a medal thing to keep my wrist in place, i'm sitting here in agony typing this:L

@martijnbmxgod No definitely not! :) That was just a practice board. It's the only footage I had of me on that hill so I thought I would show it to show where it happened. I figured if the real thing was that slow, I would be fine. But once I got on the real board, it went WAY faster.

they should have numbed it before they set it thats what they did to me when i dislocated and shattered my fingers i guess if they were setting your wrist they might not be able to numb it (they can with fingers cause hands dont have muscles). I really dont know. It hurts like krap though and i found out two days after my initial injury that i had another dislocated finger that the doc had missed he also didn't realize they were broken needless to say i'm not very trusting of that doctor

i remember my snowbordind days i hit a rock ended up with fractured clavicle(colar bone) and compound fracture to my tibia nd fibula as well as dislocatin my knee nd concussion was in hospital for 3 weeks nd had physio for 8 months.

Wow really grow up. i broke my tibia and fibula in my left leg and tore my miniscus and dislocated my knee on a dirtbike and my tibia was protruding from my leg. they had to reset them all in succesion. and didnt even put me out or give me anykind of painkiller. and it hurt really really bad. but i made absoloutly no noise. unlike you who was crying and looked like you almost fainted thats ridiculous. and i was 11 at the time wtf

Hope you're all mended now. I broke my wrist in Jan this year mountain biking, plaster off in March & then went and broke it again mountain biking the other night, pins & plates this time :( take it easy

ouch. I had to wear a cast for 6 weeks on my left leg (actually 3 casts) and I didn't have anyhting broken :-D. Just crooked bones since I was born. (or so) And after removing my cast I couldn't use that leg for another 6 weeks. (Terrible time, too many stairs at high school)
