That is something I have been overlooking. I think I definitely should fast, it certainly can't hurt spiritually to do so. Nothing but water and prayer. I should have been in sack clothe and ashes a long time ago. Thanks for the advise.
Isaiah 58 is good to read about fasting. I did a series on this for youtube viewers. It has been helpful to many people, myself included. May the Lord grant you repentance unto life. Amen.
I noticed that you have at least one subscriber/friend that is very deceived by The Great Harlot, Rome, and her false religion. Do you understand that Rome is revealed in Revelation 17 and her "Mystery" religion with it's political alliance with the Beast system? This is the deepest Satanic pit in this world, feel free to email me and we can talk about it, if you like. If you think that becoming a "better Catholic" constitutes repentance, for instance, you will damn your soul to eternal flames.
@offline111 Yes I am very aware that Rome is wicked and that the pope may very well be the anti-christ. I have not been paying attention to my youtube account much lately, I don't really know who has subscribed but I will try to remember to correct whoever it is. I believe only the Bible and I trust only the direct translation from Greek and Hebrew and the old king James version. Thanks for the warning.
I received knowledge of the truth, and i did do sin afterward, I never justified it, never thought it was right, never resented GOD and never lost my faith. I do know what I did was wrong, but I regret it terribly now and i want to repent and pursue Salvation. Is it too late, am I damned?
So since I have known the truth and I have intentionally sinned since that time, though never losing my faith or resented GOD or considering my sin to be right, I now cannot be saved at all? What do you think? I certainly know I did wrong but I would like to repent but now I cannot? I don't want the 'politically correct' answer I want the truth. If I seek to repent and pursue salvation, I cannot? So am I damned?
God knows your heart, I do not. Repent with all your heart and see if the Lord will accept your repentance. If He does, you did not go too far. If He does not...you very likely did. Willful sin is sin that is in defiance to what is known to be God's Law/Word. This is different from "daily sin" that we all have. It is deciding to do what you want to do no matter what God has to say about it. It is the heart's disposition, not merely an intentional transgression. Heb.6, and 10 speak on this.
@offline111 Thank you, I will continue trying to repent and seek GOD. I hope to see you in Heaven, if I don't make it then I am not worth knowing. Be well.
Fasting is needed for deliverance from spiritual bondage. It was Satan that led you into this, though you followed.....it is the spiritual battle that must be waged and fasting is very powerful, too powerful for the enemy (if our heart is faithful to God's purpose in repentance.) It is God who will be the victor, if victory is won for us. Fasting is a very powerful weapon for those with a sincere heart toward God. The Apostle Paul said, "and fastings often." This is the Way.
John 12:46-50 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (continued below)
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
This is "WHY" men reject the entire testimony of the Holy Bible and claim the Truth Of God is merely "one man's opinion."
He that is of God heareth God's Words. Jesus said this. Also, "ye heareth them not because ye are not of God." James said this, "Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves/souls." A man that reads Heb.6 and 10, Mat.25, Gal.5, Eph.5, 1 Cor.5, 2 Pet.1-2, John 15, etc., and does not realize that God is warning him to be faithful to the Word, or lose his salvation and be a castaway...is a blind man claiming to see, but does not.
