I think you're right it should have millions of likes. You know Cloud loves Zack, sephiroth, Genesis,Angeal,Vincent,Reno,Ru­fus,Tseng,Reeve,Lazard,kadaj, and Yazoo when he was 14 years old to 16 but he forgot that.When he remembered that he got so depressed that he tried to kill himself but cetra didn't allow him to die.So he was sent back to time to fix things but still failed.

There's also the original game, FF VII for the PS and PC, Then there's FF VII Dirge of Cerberus for the PS2 as well as FF VII Crisis Core for the PSP. Of the 13 Final Fantasies, VII has had the most sequel/prequel material.
