Wish we had these type of adverts like this donor card one. I actually watched one with Superted, a cartoon character from the 1980s (used to watch it on Children's BBC) telling us about road safety with his friends. Star Test, I think I used to watch it on Channel 4

Anytime. I think channel 4 was at its best in the 80's. Up until the late 90's. Now its full of Gordon Ramsey, Big Bro(Please no more) and crap like skins lol

The voiceover on the PIF is Keith Barron, and in my opinion it dates from roughly 1978 or 1979.

I have a November 1985 Channel 4 close with - I'm pretty sure - the same Donor Card PIF. It would probably have been quite a few years old even then.

Period detail suggests it's between 1979 and 1982. Give or take...

The mother in the PIF also played the mother of a Grange Hill character in the late 80's (Laura Regan I think).
