@lfcanishlfc I say fuck em all! I wont stand behind any one drumhead company until they want to give me a discount on them. when I get any head I remove the logo. They aren't gonna make anymore money off of me than what I paid for the head. The way I see it, unless they are giving me a discount, I wont show there name. But for Remo, there consistency SUCKS!

Everyone has their own opinion. It's the type of sound you like. You choose what heads you think sound good. You shouldn't compare heads though. They all sound great. My favorite is Remo heads though. I like Evans heads also. I've never tried aquarian before.

Remo is alright, i like some of their products, but i think evans is still better in innovation, and thats just a fact with all the different types of drum heads they have, they experiment with so much like holes, flaps, things like that on the drum head. but im not saying remo is bad. i just like evans better.

@donnyfox123 well of course remo is more popular. evans have only been making drum heads for like 40 years. because back in the early 20th century remo is all they had! until evans started in the 50's i believe. please correct me if im wrong.

i've got some evans on my kit right now, BUT their coating isn't that great

IMO aquarian still makes the best coatings, you could sand wood with it, I have some that are like 8 years old and STILL have rough coating
