besides taht, i am equally in love with les pauls and strats, but running a fuzz face through a les paul is like sticking mud in your amp. ew. and i love fuzz face tone, so thats why i go with strats usually. ;)

Dude, awsome! I've never known anyone other than me who has a satin finish guitar! Mine is a Fender Strat though, I prefer them to the teles. But, thats awsome man... and yeah, the satin finish hasn;t worn on me yet and i've had mine for near five years (not too much time but... whatever). AWSOME

I'm interested to know why you prefer the tele to the "incredible" stratocaster. I know that some songs couldn't be played without a telecater but ... ??? (some Led-Zeppelin solos are a good example). For me a telecaster is something with a sound between a lespaul Gibson and a Fender stratocaster. But, I saw your guitar collection and I'm pretty sure that you're planning to buy a stratocaster (made in USA) too. ;-)

nah ... I'm really not planning on playing a Strat. It may sound good, but not only I don't like the way it looks, it don't feel right when I play it. ... One day I'll get me-self a Gibson Les Paul :) ... when I save up enough...

That's what I think. A Les-Paul (Gibson not Epiphone) is a much better choice than a stratocaster.

What do you think about Ibanez, I've only got one guitar, and it's weak but I bought it not being sure if I wanted to really dedicate the time needed to learn. Now I want an Ibanez, but I'm not sure if I should get that or a Fender maybe a Les Paul, But I'm leaning towards an Ibanez.
