  • @Jss1886 That would certainly be true if English such as you were subsidising Scotland however you nor anyone else subsidises Scotland, she produces more oil than Kuwait the problem with many English people is that they conveniently forget that there is not an English treasury rather it is a British treasury and all revenues raised within the UK are distributed from London ,if Scotland left the UK all resources and revenues raised in Scotland would remain in Scotland. For a comparison try Norway.

  • On a point of interest if Scotland does leave the UK she will off course take with her the oil fields of the North sea and the other natural resources which make her an exporter of energy in fact potentially a very wealthy small nation.

  • @forsythbill1 If it means English such as me would no longer have to subsidise them, that can only be a good thing as far as i'm concerned.

  • Although my family has been in the U.S. for 250 years, I could not be more English; and I could not be more proud of being English. Although Britannia no longer literally rules the waves, she spawned English-speaking democracies in nations representing nearly half the population of the world. Britannia will never be alone; and if I could trade for U.K. citizenship, I would do it in a heartbeat! "Britans never never never shall be slaves!"

  • Thumbs up if this makes you proud to be British.

  • Lovely performance.TY WeShallFighrtOn for posting.

  • Rule Britannia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stop wearing those stupid Muffs on your Head!

  • @holmesbinton

For your info, all US Forces Drum Majors wear the bearskin as well. This practice can be traced back in tradition to the British Army, when the newly formed Continental Army was modelled on it and other European armies.

  • @holmesbinton

The "stupid muffs" happen to be the bearskin hats worn by the Soldiers of the Household division, and look no more stupid than the triangle pancakes that some of your soldiers seem to wear.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Lol! Triangle Pancakes?? Lol! You're Funny! But Seriously. you would rather wear a 10ft. tall Black Muff on your head instead of a Triangle Pancake? :D

  • @holmesbinton

I would wear the ceremonial uniform of my country. When they were introduced, the bearskin hats had a purpose on the battlefield.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Purpose on battlefield? Man, Those things look like they could be a Nuisance! I can imagine something like that would get in the way! Have it wobble of your head or Get in your face. You seem to love your country! I love mine too! :D

  • @holmesbinton

The purpose was to make the soldiers look taller and more intimidating. If you ever go to trooping the colour, the lines of soldiers look seven feet tall. In the same way, the conspicuous red uniforms also had a military use because it is apparently hard to count numbers of men in one big red block.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Okay..... But They look rather funny, don't they? By the way, Thanks for the Information, I didn't know that! :)

  • @holmesbinton

I wouldn't say they looked that funny- it was the accepted means of warfare at the time they came in, as were the breeches and tricorns in America, and they have been kept on as relics of a better time.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Well it didn't help you much in America, did it? Lol. Just kidding. Is it True that the Union Jack will have that Ugly Welsh Dragon on It? :/

  • @holmesbinton

I know it didn't help us in America. 1812 was before they were introduced I think, and we were able to burn Washington without them :)

I hope not. If they do change it, I hope they give it half of a green background or something. But the PC Brigade wanted to put black parts on the flag to symbolise multiculturalism in the UK.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Whatever you do there. Don't EVER let them Change The Union Jack! I don't know if you know this, but in some States of the US, We have Confederate Battleflags on Poles! Black People didn't like it because it was a Sign of Times in Slavery in the South of the US. We Told them to Fuck Off! Lol! Your Country Needs to tell people who want to Change it to "Fuck Off" too. But, No one Here can Change the Striped Banner. Our Flag is Dear to Us! :D

  • @holmesbinton

It may not be necessary to change our flag. The Scottish Government want to make Scotland an independent country and end the Union. I just hope that will never happen.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Yeah, The Cross of St. Andrew Is a Beautiful addition to the Flag. Why did Most of Ireland Leave? You guys need to Keep Northern Ireland for the Cross of St.Patrick, Right? :/

  • @holmesbinton

It was all down to religion. Ireland is split between northern protestants and southern catholics. The catholics wanted to be independent from protestant Britain whereas the protestants wanted to stay in the UK. Therefore most of Ireland split off and became the Irish Free State in 1922, later becoming a republic. Six counties wished to remain in the UK so they did. The IRA terrorists were the northern catholics who wanted to leave the Union.

  • @Myles0Harcourt, Your full of Good Info! If northern Ireland ever should leave the Union, Does that mean the Cross of St. Patrick Will Disappear off the Union Jack?

  • @holmesbinton

To be honest, I'm not sure about that. the original Union Jack of the Kingdom of Great Britain didn't have the Irish cross on it, so quite possibly.

  • @holmesbinton

After the Anglo-Irish treaty was signed, the question of whether or not to remove the cross came about. It would cost in the area of billions, and after the First World War that was seen as an unneeded cost. So I imagine if Northern Ireland were to leave the union, the cross would stay.

  • @Myles0Harcourt If Scotland left it would save alot of money.

  • @TheLloydA1

Is money all you can think about?!?

  • @Myles0Harcourt Well its what we need at the moment.

  • @TheLloydA1

And a bit of national pride it seems. I mean, by your thinking, why not throw out underperforming counties or towns as well to save money?

  • @Myles0Harcourt How would you throw out counties or towns ? anyway i dont think thats realistic, but Scotland being independent is.If Scotland gives you some sort of pride then good for you but it does not to me.

  • @TheLloydA1

A united Britain has been the greatest nation on Earth, and British people should show each other a bit of loyalty, not throw each other out every time there is a bit of economic trouble to "save money".

  • @Myles0Harcourt Nobodys throwing them out,I just said in my opinion if they left atleast we would save alot of money.

  • @TheLloydA1

    Maybe.

  • @TheLloydA1

    SAS?

    Scots guards, Coldstream guards?

face it the scots played a major role in propelling GB ro 'rule the waves'

  • @alikos88 So you think the SAS (formed by a scot),and two Regiments are enough to suggest that Scotland were the major driving force to pushing Great Britain into a super power, Well thats just stupid, yes the two regiments helped to win many battles.but if thats all your argument comes to then its a poor one. p.s.(I did not say that Scotland did not play a part in Helping Great britain become a super power did I)

  • @TheLloydA1

what would become of United Kingdom witout the scots?

the "Disunited Kingdom" or the "Not-so-Great Britain"

I just dont like seperatist attitudes. If I had it my way Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Barbados and South Africa would still be part of Great Britian...

but thats just delousional...so I dont think about it much. damn statute of Westminster 1931..what a year that was. Beginning of the end

  • RULE THE GREAT EMPIRE OF GREAT BRITAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • in all seriousness, this glorious march has notes that are so intrincate and difficult to play, to have been written 300 years ago!

  • This was the charter

  • This is more than ironic.

  • @Outisovitch How so?

  • I always laugh at their hats

  • @GhostSniper3081 You mean the hats that cost more than your house?

  • @benrfc I'll laugh at the hats, in return feel free to laugh at my house whenever you like

  • @benrfc I'm pretty sure the going rate for a fake fur hat is less than the average house price

  • @samliffe not your house you pauper

  • @GhostSniper3081 They made that possible with their blood.......

  • Rule!

  • ALL HAIL BRITANNIA! :D

  • @Puppenspielsmeister

    I'd Hail Lelouch instead. :)

  • @Puppenspielsmeister

If you do not watch Code Geass, don't bother replying as you won't understand me.

    Basically:

Britannia unifies in the Roman era and conquers the world. Lelouch vi Britannia becomes 99th Emperor of Britannia and conquers the entire world.

    :)

  • holy crap that colonel has my name that was random lol

  • well done!

    greetings from germany :)

  • About the EU... Britain has always had policy to prevent a single power dominating Europe. So unless us Brits go back on our word bye bye EU. :D

  • @Kotassium Them Frenchies have the power to Veto too.

  • Redimp is a Numpty and needs to take a long hard look in the mirror to say that. Do some research before balbbering off with what tabloids write. Without many good EU laws (for example with regards to employment laws) Britain would be a far worse place to live in! I am no EU lover, but it certainly hasn't been all bad and i don't see lines of people being locked away and killed just for being of a certain religion or nationality!

  • That is a terrible thing to say. I'm a eurosceptic myself but to compare the EU to Hitler's Reich is extremly insensitive! Hitler was pure evil as we all know. The EU on the other hand is a liberal forward thinking organsation and while I may not agree with the direction it is going I would never make the connection between the two. After all we get to speak freely and elect who we want and that's why the war was fought!

  • you're an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone is welcome in this country if they subscribe to the ethics attached to livng here.....and many are welcome and contribute "Ruthless colonisation"? Grow up..... and wake up you blind fool....try living abroad before you start bleating about life in the UK.....or maybe you don't like living there? If not - hop it back and try some 21st Century civilisation elsewhere.....or don't they do social security handouts there?

  • It is a beautiful song! Thanks for posting this video :-)

  • No doubt about it Britain (as well as other European countries) have allowed too much immigration.

Somehow, I think that the idea of immigration, without assimilation, was not the idea of the averge Brit. (or any native-born citizen).

This current trend seems to have been something that was foisted upon the citizens by the EU and the other Globallist entities of the world.

A "nation" can not exist unless the people within that nation have a common set of values and ideals.

  • The above said. I hope and pray that the British will not become slaves in any sense of the word.

At least, In America, we still have the right to bear arms (guns) and freedom of speech to say whatever we want....even if it's not "PC."

I'm with Patrick Henry on this one "Give me liberty or give me death!"

Beware...you might be the one who ends up dead if you try to infringe upon my God-given rights!!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • From the ashes, rises the New Imperial Brittannian Empire!!

  • i like the sentiment but did you just say brittannian?

  • The greatest colonial empire of all time!

  • Rule!Britannia
