  • Bloody Fantastic Majestic Harp. Rhythm Willie pushed the Harp to new heights. Thanks 4 sharing

  • this be some bad motherfucking blues shit. makes me wanna crack a beer and chill the fuck out. nobody rocks the tunes like this no more. somebody grab me a budweiser!!!!

  • Love the ending. He was sure comfortable on the upper register. I go there. I go in and out. I haven't built a house up there. He practically lived and worked and did most of his shopping up there there. He could get more phrases out of the few available notes then most can out holes 1 to 6. I might not know what im talking about. I have only heard two songs by him. But I am excited to hear more!!!!! Thanks Mazblues guy!!!

  • @eosdelb glad u share my enthusiasm mate! nice picture ;)

  • That was freakin great!!!

  • Best first position I ever heard. Walter Horton got a few things from this guy. See someone else thought the same. In the Satch tradition, throws in a single note rhythm solo!

  • Damn I need to get that cd this guy is great on first pos.

  • @Santi2c bent8? you're aware it's a G harp aren't ya?

  • @Santi2c you're crazy xD all blowbends!

  • I play both blues harp and Chromatic harmonicas. Rhythm Willie Hood is my MAN along with Deford Bailey, Larry Adler, Stevie Wonder, and Lee Oskar. I have this CD and his high notes near the end of the tune send me into ecstacy! Thank you Mazblues for educating the public with this!

  • one of your best uploads yet man! awesome.

  • I probably collect all rhythm willie records except two of them, but i never saw his photo before. Thank you for this one.

  • @wheelharp just found it myself about two days ago...there's an ultimate collection out now (the one in the end), that's where I got the pic from. Was great for me too to get to connect his playing with a face finally!

  • @Mazblues Oh my God! All his recordings in one CD from bluebeat! I collect his recordings from vinyl rips, from differen cd's etc, but this CD is must to buy! ^) Thank you for information again!

  • Great tune - some licks reminds me on Walter Horton stuff.

Thanks for that fine master cut.
