Very effective version of a superb song - which I have only discovered in the past month or so (better late than never !)

Compared to the intense pain and emotion of the studio original (which incidentally I absolutely love), this looks like she's finally got over him and enjoying telling him she's moved on ! A fine version, though.

@KingOfShadows1500 Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for the life in the song, the raw emotion of the performance, live is better. Obviously it depends on the performer's abilities and sound equipment. Studio is awesome but it really depends on preference.

@amsaric Yeah... However, studio recordings do not remove the ''life'' in a song. I mean, the performer still sings with the same emotion when they're in the studio, you know :P But yeah, you're right on the fact that it depends on the performer, like if you listen to Kesha or Rebecca Black live, you feel like killing yourself because both sound horrible without auto-tune. But I have respect for Christina Perri who can sing well even without having her voice modified in a studio :)

@KingOfShadows1500 The disadvantage of studios is that when you're recording you repeat things and cut it into pieces and you're singing to an empty room pretty much. With live performances the audience is there and you just thrust your heart out to them to connect with them. It's a completely different ambient therefor a completely different result. It takes a really communicative and emotional artist to keep the "life" in the studio version. But yea, I get you.
