I leave the radio on tuned to NPR for my prakeets too. better radio station compared to others that have obnoxious commercials or booming, screeching music that might scare them. NPR tends to keep a soothing monotone rythem.
That is just the cutest thing ive ever seen! lol. Mine are too noisy, they just start talking when they hear the tv. The funniest thing is that we usually hit the mute button when the commercials start, and when the birds dont hear anymore noise, they stop chattering. Its really funny cuz it looks like we muted them with the remote too, then when we hit the button again and the tv starts again, they start chattering all over again lol
The more you do this, the more he'll pick up off the radio. Same as if you have a TV on in the living room he'll soon learn to imitate things he hears from it.
lol is that just like a reaction or y do they do that....cause mines right by the stairs....so when i start to walk up or down the stairs...he bobs his head to the rythem of the noise i make walkin up and down the stairs

Lol, my bird used to do similar to the radio. He used to do a circle with his head around this lantern toy in his cage.
He also used to bob and sing crazily for one particular song the radio used to play - won me free CD's when I called to request the song! Haha.
Your bird is super cute though, love the colour and markings. :)
