@djmigra i picked one up at guitar center today, and i liked it better than any of the other controllers there in that price range. the jog wheels on top is nice, because they dont get in the way ( i tried others, and i always hit them when trying to use other things, which got annoying D:<). also, its larger than you would expect, so the controls are spread out better, not too cramped. all in all, im happy with my purchase of my first dj controller :D

@djmigra also something i should tell you, with the versions 10.6 or higher of osx, torq 1.5 will have some problems. when you get it, make sure you register your xponent and get torq 2.0 for free. works absolutely flawlessly!

and at 00:53 you click (and hold) the mouse pad to change the idk what it is (how the song sounds) is this default? because i read that this pad was supposed to control the pc mouse? so how did you change it? I am planning to buy the Xponent so I want to know about it as much as i can.

@UgaBuga96 At 41, he is using the pitch bend feature. Basically when you move the side of the jogwheel, it will speed up or slow down the track a little bit and then return to it's normal speed. This is used when the two track are out of beat. You're right, the XY pad can be used to control the mouse, but under the right/left click buttons is a button that says MIDI. Click that and the XY pad can be used to control effects. Hope that helped you out.

How are you finding rocking this controller with Torq 2.0, with getting the right mapping to control all four decks. Im gonna get this controller as i love the software but I was thinking of getting a korg nano kontrol 2 to control the samples. How are you utilising all the aspects of torq 2.0?

Because its a great setup for someone either just starting out or if you've got some years ob your back like richie. A good dj can play on just about anything my comment had nothing to do with him I wouldn't hve this vid in my favorites if it did. Compared to cdjs and vinyl yes the mixer is more user friendly

As long as your laptop is runing XP or Vista, you should just be able to plug and start playing. This is a nice piece of equipment. Geared more for Electro DJ as opposed to Hip Hop DJ who would probably lean for the Vestax VCi300

its a peice of shit. the pitch sliders dont work, the spinner is delayed, the plastic on it feels like a cheap gallon milk jug, and worst of all, i dont know who in their right mind said the sound card is good because its absoultely aweful. i have an x-fi sound card so i hear amazing audio, when i connect this thing half of the frequencies disapear. i called in for a refund. this thing is a toy.
