he got unlucky with the songs with both Laila & mels' freestyle, beside he couldn't lift Laila & threw her in the air like most pros did, & 4 mel the song was terrible & he didn't have much time with her 2 present a blowing freestyle, he only got 1 hour to practice with her, in fact I really admire Maks 4 actually trying 2 let his partner shine & do some freestyle dancing instead of showing off 2 make his partner look good, even if it wasn't mind blowing!

but i suppose we have to take into consideration the fact that the professionals are professional ballroom/latin dancers, so some will be better at contemporary choreography than others.

maks is not one of them though, which was also relfected in his freestlye with mel!

luv laila - judges were too rough on them. she's not a skinny girl like most and it's harder to do lifts. they deserved better

This competiton is unfair because guys can just stand there and be a stable base for their professional partners to dance around and still get good scores, whereas the girls have to get out there and do hard moves. But the grading doesn't reflect this.... females with more ability definitely get shafted compared to males with less ability.

The guy said PasoDoble not Freestyle but then if you listened later the host said he made a mistake. I think the judges went way to hard on them although it did not deserve a perfect score. It should've got 3 9's. Although, there should've been more lifts. There was only 1.

Laila and Maks were my favourite couple and their freestyle number was the hottest on the show, I loved it, as all their other dances. I believe Maks is the best dancer of the pros and also the most handomse, of course, he has become a star on his own right. I can't see another season of DWTS without Maks, that would be so bad for the show, he's become so popular now. Laila was his best match, perfect. I'm sorry they didn't win, but the judges clearly weren't on their side.

The dance and scoring appeared to be a formality rather than a genuine round. The judges gave everyone 10s.

I love Maks and Laila! It has been a fun Monday and Tuesday night.

They won me over the first time I watched them on the show (Rumba week) and I'd been watching just for them ever since - the other two finalists were rubbish in comparison imho.
