They were going to fix the collision box for the ladders anyways as people thought it was annoying how you would get stuck on the sides. Anyways, removing that won't really make a difference in maps, as you could just press shift at the top of a ladder.

Because of Nova's and Seamus' complaining about ladders, their fans flooded Notch and Jeb with tweets telling them to fix the ladders (which weren't broken), and now they're truly broken because Jeb completely removed their collision box. You can no longer stand on ladders. Goodbye pakour maps, goodbye adventure maps, goodbye puzzle maps
