Man I played this game till the disc wore out. I saw this and here I am holding it again, scratched to fuck but contents are still somewhat readable.....

Let's hope this runs on Virtual PC on Win 7.

This had the heavy mech feel, where MW4 was dissapoint, you haad those quick and nimble mechs everywhere.

Mech 3 is a class act , better feel, better looks and better mech-lab than mech4. Only weakness is the terrain but hey.....Tranquility is just a flat planet.

Hey there, glad to see a LP of MW3. Quick question tho- how the hell did you manage to fix the collision problem? Every time I collide with something, MFBs, other mechs, the game crashes or does some weird gravity-related stuff.

Use the v key by default to activate MASC. Far as I could tell it added about 10 or so KPH to my speed.

I salvaged that Nova and used it for the rest of the game. I really like Novas.

Ah that's cool, the Nova is a bit too slow for me, although piloting your fav mech makes the game so much more fun.

I played through the entire game with an Orion, an er PPC on either arm and 3 medium pulse lasers and one er large lase in the torso. as well as 5 AMS loaded in there making me almost immune to missile attacks. i also had the MASC which was supposed to make me run faster but i never saw a difference.

You have to activate MASC for it to take effect. Dunno what the default button is to toggle it though. Sounds like a heaty mech you had there!

Yeah that Orion was amazing. I figured out how to turn it on but i never saw my KPH go up from the regular flank speed.

By the way, when you went into contact with Epona and Alan, did you refit them with new mechs you salvaged or did you let them keep the ones that they had for the remainder of the game?

Definitely refitted them when I got them new and better clan mechs.

That's fantastic, and they become a lot stronger now with teh new mechs you have fitted them with. And with the new awesome weapons upgraded for your lancemate's new mechs, they are unstoppable. and by the way when i fough Brendan Corbett , he was tough and he charged at me and my lancemates witha variety of weapons I had to attack him then dodge attacka nd dodge and he shattered my mech's window area. How long did it take for you to beat Corbett?

First time... he killed me well over 5 times. But that was when I was 11. Now, I don't even have to fight him, and just let my lancemates clean him up.

I always start the mission just when the MFB is saying a certain part or the briefing, so it sounds like he's giving a useless briefing. Like in this part, I start just when he says, "Here are your op points."

Did you ever get the blackhawk to use for the second operations area? And also the thor is the only strong mech capable of withstanding heavty weaponry fire like the daishi and the madcat.

Yes, I have salvaged the blackhawk before. And there are plenty of other mechs that can take a ton of damage such as the Cauldron Born, Supernova, and Sunder.

Wow, that's cool, but i wanted to ask, how did Alan get the Sunder, just where did he get that battle mech from? And I fitted Epona witha vulture and then the mad cat in around operations 3 and 4 and later on in operation 4 Dominic still ahst he shadow cat, epona with an avatar and alan with a cauldron born. and I was left with the thor near the end of opeartion 4 missions 3 and 4.

Well, the Sunder was a Inner Sphere mech. Alan was probably assigned to pilot the Sunder when he joined a heavy lance or something. And if you keep watching, you'll see what kind of mechs my lancemates have.
