i put 300 plus hours in that game and had everything but 3 summons and beat yazamat...i had him 2/3 the way beat. a roommate deleted the file by accident.

OH MY GOD. I just finally finished this game today... Took me.. wait for it.... 130 hours of gameplay...including all the hunts and tournsol etc. WOW this is the longest game I have ever played. I normally like to breeze through RPG but this one is so addicting...

I shouldn't have been emotionally attached to the characters.. Because the game has ended; I am actually kinda sad... I really don't see how people can hate this game.

@lemonboy53 i think i was around vaans level but do this ,have one character be a tank , one a healing magic caster, and one a supporting magic caster, set up gambits for the healer and supporting magic caster, and have ur tank on haste and beserk , he´ll attack really fast and knock cids life down fast. also take down the robots around him first cuz they get really annoying

Its pretty simple use vaan as a tank and just let the others buff him nonstop and heal of course

Dont use quicknings its just a waste

And if u can Try to train Ur lvl 30 with the imperials In draklor.

@blackgeeeee actually, the story lines are very different from game to game. and are all amazing. try playing 198 hours of the game, I think you'd appreciate the ending a little more.

Tear jerker, this game had amazing voice acting, the names and city names and all were greatly named out. They should of made a dvd release with some added scenes inbetween the games cutscenes to make a short movie or something.

Each game with a number is a different storyline all on its own. The characters are in no way connected, nor are the storylines. They are simply given the same name as they are the same series and type of games, made by the same people. But they share no similar plot.

The Tactics series' have no affiliation with any of the other games either.

Some of the games take place in the same "world", but even then, the actual characters exist usually hundreds of years apart.

So yeah. No connections.

What I got out of it, they're getting married. I don't think it's 'impossible' for viera to be with men, I think it's just forbidden in their society. But Fran was exiled, so woohoo!

But, although they never outrightly state it, they definitely threw in some rather romantic scenes between Balthier and Fran. Like when he saves her on the collapsing warship and carries her out to safety before he (what appeared to be) sacrificed himself to save the town.

That kinda stuff. :)

Its very sad cause they all 6 get separated. All the fights and stuff, and Ashe gets isolated from all. The normal felling was to join them all togheter, but the end gives a tip about balthier, like if they would meet all again. Not showing balthier and Fran is sad as well...

it got a lot of bad reviews, i have to say, the only problem was that there was too much time between cutscenes and the characters didn't seem very real. the characters didn't show a huge amount of emotion i guess. but i did enjoy the game, it's very very very very very very very long, just how i like em. the audio was also terrible lol. but past all that, it was a great game. excellent story, brilliant ending. hard as hell to get some of the weapons and espers though
