Tried this on different conditions just for fun on my teenage years: without aiming, without shield, only with the hammer, only with the biggoron sword, only with the broken biggoron sword, only with the spinning attack, aiming and jumping around for about 30 minutes without fearies (sheesh, I miss those days I used to have lots of spare time)

It's actually easier to face this guy during a 3-heart run because he'll only take... you guessed it... 3 hits!

That's why I always wait with collecting the Heart Pieces until after the Water Temple.

Din's Fire is really helpful, though.

Easiest way to beat Dark link: Spam normal horizontal slashes and spin attacks WITHOUT using Z-targeting. It'll take less than a minute to beat him.

Tips on beating dark link

1- Don't z target him he will block almost every hit

2- if you have it use Din's fire very handy

3- if you have it use biggoron sword deals twice as much damage as the master sword
