  • @AdamCartwrightILoveU - great episode, no question there, but have you seen Pernell in Ironside? Bloody brilliant, serach YouTube for PERNELL ROBERTS, TO KILL A COP . I mean, it's not Trapper John MD or anything, but damn he's good in it.

  • @wpl955g ,

oh yes I have seen it. Pernell plays a mean drunk very well...

  • @AdamCartwrightILoveU Almost too well! Love the bit where he pretends to fan a revolver ('You cops with your guns...'), a nice little tribute to his days on the Ponderosa. Still, better than San Francisco International Airport for Pernell fans.

  • @rhsharp Good question. God, I love Night Gallery!

  • Thanks so much for posting this episode,Night Gallery was my favorite show when I was kid.....I love that girl's red hair, the clothes and hairstyles from the 1970's is my favorite.

  • @mari66101 ,

Your welcome. I only posted it because Pernell Roberts is in it

  • Wow....I just watched the whole thing..this really is creepy!!! Still processing the ending.....

  • @PianoMan53100 ,

Yep it was a bit creepy. I thought it was kind of stupid except the Pernell parts..... lol

  • The first time i saw this night gallery,i was about 11 years old,and it just freaked me out.

  • And THANK you for posting this! Such an odd cast but after hearing/thinking about/seeing this episode over and over for years, I just accept them all. For me, Pernell was "Vague Husband Guy" to Susan Oliver's "Kelly" well before I even saw Bonanza or Trapper! What do you suppose the bad guy (Roy) is doing with that chair before he slow-motion collapses into the juke-box, sending the needls skidding before the bullets hit it? What is with the chair? I wonder if anyone has noticed the chair...

  • @AdamCartwrightILoveU Do you have the 'Green fingers' and 'The funeral' too? If so, would you share them also : )! Haven't seen them for ages.

  • @retsdeeps ,

I do but will not post the whole episode due to copyright laws. sorry... but you can watch it for free on Hulu

  • @AdamCartwrightILoveU

I guess so. Sometimes I think it's okay to end a story like this, making the viewer/reader wonder what happened. Other times I think it's a cop out on the writer's part. In this case, it made the story all the more creepy, so it worked. Thanks again for posting.

  • @rhsharp ,

    your very welcome

  • @rhsharp I agree re: "Dan's Cafe." I have obsessed on over this episode for years, since I was a kid, having taped it off the TV via a cassette recorder, listening to it over and over until the 90's when somehow I saw it again on VHS. I have to think that YES, it is left for the viewer to decide, but I think in some form Roy exacts revenge in some unGodly manner we can't even imagine. I don't know where they all went either! And note how the Cafe neon, etc, all comes to life when Red appears!

  • @TheRosaLee23 ,

    yes Night Gallery.

  • Thank you for uploading this! It´s great!

Pernell is always excellent! Thank you

  • @Guadaconejita ,

    your welcome.Pernell is awsome .

  • oh that trademark lean of his. This indeed a strange little story but as you have said just the fact that PR is in it makes it worth watching.

  • wow it´s a creepy short story who wrote it!!! Stephen King!!!

hey and she played Leta Malvet in the outcast,(Bonanza ep)

    A.C. thank´sagain for the effort....LOL..

  • @PERNELLSGIRLful ,

your welcme. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is a bit stupid but with Pernell in it , it makes it worth watching in my book..
