@ralphp1800 I haven't worked in a rail shop, but have worked in a couple of ship yards and for a short while as a cadet marine engineer. I started as a laborer in construction and migrated into being a carpenter. After some training as a marine engineer I started doing machine work. I figure I have 15 years experience as a machinist. I did marine, aircraft and stuff in between, one of's and a little production. My last machinist job was at the U of MD Physics shop in 1995.
