i remember watching jimmy carter as he got off the presidential chopper, not even acknowledging the marines standing at attention and saluting him--as if they were just, you know, lowly porters.

what astounded me about ronald reagan was that, during his tenure, he smiled warmly, offered a polite bow and shook the hands of the marines assigned to stand at attention. oh.....about barb. i think whe would look good naked and in a dog collar, but she'd have to keep the glasses on.

I am not sure the "respect" the last few presidents has shown is genuine. Respect would be giving them what they need after they get done serving and the gov doesn t seem to want to do that. Thanks for commenting.
