Chearo loves Sujini..when he was still disfigured, it was the dreams of her that kept him going & they had a kind of telepathy going on between them, thats why even when Sujini left after knowing she is the dark pheonix,he always manages to find her. There is 1 episode near the ending where Sujini hid behind a pillar staring at Damdeok, Cheoro sensed she was there, he even knew the exact spot where she was hiding...I doubt this is just friendship?
