-On any PV system it is probably a good idea to turn off all disconnect switches before doing any work.

-Just because it is night time does not mean there is no hazard from the PV system; any light source will produce a measurable voltage in the system. One of my colleagues was knocked out while working on a system at night when some heat lightning flashed nearby.
