I just got this guitar today. I must have gotten last years model or something. I've seen this guitar on a couple different sites and I've seen two totally different guitars both with the same model number. Anyway...Still letting it warm up since it's -10 and UPS just delivered it. Will gove my opinion as the days go by and I start playing it...

if you take out the AA batteries will, it only disable the eq, or the eq and the Pickups?

@InsaneMovie - There is a two-way micro-switch that engages or by-passes the active tone circuitry. So you can set to bypass if the batteries fail and the pickups will still work.

i got this guitar since february and i have to say .... it's great it's quite cheap and you get a really good, good looking and very playable guitar ... if you think about getting one .... don't think any longer buy it you won't regret it !!!! (Y)
