  • i dont see how the alcoholism affected his career.. he did Terminator, Aliens, The Rock (not as good as the first 2 i mentioned, but a good role and a big budget film) he did Tombstone (my favorite western type movie). i mean.. how is this guy NOT considered an A-lister by you people on youtube ?? what does he need to do to be an A Lister? i just dont get it

  • I think it's awesome that Michael Biehn is very honest and direct, especially with regards to how he feels about the Alien films. I thought it was very stupid how the producers & Fox studios handled Alien 3. Biehn, Fincher, and everyone else got screwed, all because Fox wanted to make a quick, easy buck. T_T

  • I really liked the video. MB looks like a very nice man, likes to talk and share experiences with people. It seems a good guy. In addition he is an excellent actor!

  • he's a legend, so much potential to have done alot more with his career, even though he has been in a couple of the best movies of the last century, and can be proud of what he's achieved. as for his vices, poor blokes only human

  • he fucked up hes career by the drinking problem he had... hes trying to stand up i hope he does hes a badass actor!

  • It's no secret that he has had a drinking problem. He's openly admitted it somewhere on a Youtube video and is seeing help to deal with his alcoholism. I applaud him for finding the courage to deal with something like that and he's a brave, brave man for admitting something like that.

I hope to see him again and talk with him some more!

  • I wish I had a chance at meeting him, I would ask him if he would ever consider coming back for another Alien movie that ignores 3 and 4. I wish I could give him my Alien script and ask what he thought about it.

  • My favorite actor ever !!!

  • Total Badass... love him

  • I'd pissed off if they cut me out too.

But I'm wondering, if they made an Alien movie that took place after Aliens and ignored Alien3 and Resurrection that brought him back would he do it? Cause like he said, he was mad he got killed off but what if he had a chance to come back?

    What do you guys think?

  • Michael Biehn is such a badass man

  • Yes.. Yes he is.. And I am one happy fan to have met him in person and shake his hand.

  • wow, hewell awesome, he's right though, the Termiantor, Alien and Predator franchise have hit rockbottome lately, but the same thing happened to Batman when joel schumacher got involved, but then Batman Begins and Dark Knight brought Batman back to glory, alls not lost, any franchise can be saved if done the right way.

  • he is still soo hotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes, the rest are crap, correct m8!

  • I had been wondering what Biehn had thought about Terminator Salvation, im not surprised that he said he hadn't seen it, along with Terminator 3. He probably felt James Cameron should have been involved.

I thought Alien Resurrection was an absolute joke but I thought Alien 3 was good, Biehn's character shouldn't have been killed off though and its obvious he's still pissed about that, as he should be. He did a great job as Hicks in Aliens. He does a great job in all the movies he's in.

  • I was surprised he didn't see it, but then again, I learned that day that some celebrities don't watch the movies they star in.

He also said that he believes that he stared in one of the better Alien films, and he thinks that the rest were crap. I do agree and understand why he is angry that he was cut out of Alien 3. Anyone would be pissed, really.

  • Man it really sucks they cut him out of Alien 3 i mean i like alien 3 and alien ress, but it really messed up his career he would of been cool in alien3 gotta sting everytime someone asks him if his watched the sequels

  • He seems like a funny, lay back, cool guy.

I like him in 'The Terminator', 'The Fan' and 'Planet Terror'

    He´s handsome as well.

  • JESUS CHRIST

You guys are so lucky, but please have some real dialogue prepared. Biehn looks like he doesn't know much of what is going on in either franchise. Moments like this could be crucial. You should have told him that HE is an integral part of fandom and that he should be talking to Ridley Scott ASAP. Also that he should be more involved in the Terminator franchise and offer (for pay) to train the next Kyle Reese on his approach to the character and mannerisms. You people living in LA

  • Great questions! You are very lucky to meet the man himself.

  • Wow you met the legend!

The makers of Alien³ tried to revive the slasher-horror atmosphere of Alien, a stupid move which also bombs itself with plotholes.

If I had my chance I would ask Michael if he read the comic books with Hicks and Newt. Also if he knew anything about the cartoon that was being made with Hicks kicking some Xenomorph face in.

  • Thanks for commenting! I had more questions to ask Michael, but I was pressed for time.

Think Alien 3 is bad? Robert Rodriguez's PREDATORS probably is gonna be worse.

  • omg, i so hated the third installment. it was ...all wrong.

  • That must have been a cool experience!

  • Hell yeah it was! I met an ALIEN legend!

  • I thought I should let you know that I wrote the alpfilm12 comment. I didn't know I was on my girlfriend's account and didn't want you to think I didn't comment.

An additional comment. I enjoy Alien 3 a lot. David Fincher is a great director. He just had a lot of production problems. The movie is still good; it's a shame they had to get cut out good characters but it ended so great. The series should have ended there and Alien Resurrection is an abomination.

  • I agree. Resurrection was an abomination and I refuse to watch the movie based on how horrid it is. I mean I saw it as a kid, and now that I look back on it-- I realize that I will never get that time back.

  • You lucky bastard :) you should have asked him if we'll ever see adventure inc on dvd and how he feels about it now. It sucks you were given a time constraint with questions. It would be cool to get him in a 1 on 1 interview session. I think AVP galaxy should try for that.

  • Yeah, I had some other questions to ask like if he kept in contact with James Cameron or his other ALIENS co-stars like Paxton or Goldstein. I also wanted to ask about his involvement in Cameron's AVATAR movie, but due to time contstraints, I wasn't able to ask as many questions.

We did discuss Rodriguez's PREDATORS film though. Michael was even surprised that Robert was doing that film but it was discussed off camera.

  • You are so lucky!

  • Sometimes it pays to go to these conventions.

  • Well there are no conventions where I live.

  • lol I had no idea he was kind of bitter about being cut out of aliens. Of course he was such a great character I think he still should of been in them. I liked Alien 3 though. cool that you met him though. He's one awesome dude.

  • I never knew he was bitter about being cut from Alien 3 too! He's a really cool guy to speak to, down to Earth and always searching for new opportunities to expand himself in.

  • I would be bitter too if someone killed me after my character worked hard to survive.

His death, Newt's and Ripley's is one of the reasons I think Alien3 is the worst one.

But I think he should give AVP a chance cause Cameron did, I read that he thought it was 3rd out of all the Alien movies but then I saw video where he said he hated it, but I think optimisticly that he liked it.

  • Apparently, Cameron said he hated the movie before he saw it but after seeing it, he said he liked it alot and rated it third in his opinion.

  • Dunno, he said he liked it in an interview then said he hated it at the Pirates 2 premier a few months later. Either he liked it then decided he hated it or he told the reporter at the premier what he wanted to hear cause the guy asked him "Could you do us all favor and make an Alien 5 and save us from these god awful AVP movies?", he probably thought that they'd turn on him for liking it so I figured that he said what the reporter wanted him to say. But I just like to be optimistic.
