Overall is Chinese...Jackie and Daniel speak Chinese, and some Japanese on occasion. Some of the refugee in the movie speak their own dialect, though. Like the Canton people speak Cantonese in the movie....

Jackie want change his own career. Large audience still keep him just a action comedy actor who fight funny way. That would be a right choice but what he profit if this film its not get a international release? But i think that its Jackie`s own fault because he is not even try harder when he film American movie.

Now this is THE Jackie Chan film I have been waiting and hoping for since "New Police Story". I was very interested reading articles about the film before; now seeing part of the film itself has made me even more excited. Early contender for my film of the year already. Forget the Hollywood family films and kids Kung Fu fun - this is serious hard action and story, and hope this is the direction he will continue to take.

You've seen my work on the Hong Kong DVD releases of "The Myth" & "Rob-B-Hood"? To be honest, it's okay for the most part but not perfect. I'm very nitpicky about grammar & the fact is, I'm never given the time to do any final spot check. In fact, in both movies, there were chunks of the commentary that didn't involve me at all. Everything is rushed from the theatrical to the home video release date. It's hardly possible to get it perfect. (cont'd)

In this movie, Jackie becomes a person who doesn't know kung fu and in the few fight scenes, he will be fighting as similar to a real street brawl as possible. And, that's why to creat this effect, Jackie invited Ching Kark Lok as the Stunt Choreographer to give fights a more gritty and realistic feel.
