The GR of these suits is very amazing but only to the people that are skilled with these suits. GR(glite ratio) of these wingsuit are 3:1 that means if u fall 3000 meters you will "travel" horizontaly a 9000 meters and that's is preety good. But every person have to find his body position for the best glite ratio...

It's clearly the quickest way to get down from a mountain (without dying!). Wish I were a bit younger. I only know the french word, but what is the "FINESSE" of those suits, the descent ratio? I'd be very interested if someone could tell me. Thanks in advance

well i dont know exactly how to explain it. i think the slowest wingsuit goes at a vertical speed of 70 or 60 mph or something.

The descent ratio varies, but my understanding is that it is around 2.5 horizontal to 1 vertical, which is pretty amazing.

Thanks for the info ideastoday. Yes it is quite amazing. They haven't used this system in a James Bond film yet but I can quite imagine a pursuit in the mountains and filmed the way they can.Saw they used these suits in the second Tomb raider film.

i live on the top of a cliff and i jump down with one of these suits and land on my school everyday. It's nice having all the girls surrounding me when i arrive, but it gets boring after a while...
