Asus EEEPC 1005HA Overclocked @ 2.02GHz and GMA950 at full speed

If i overclock my cpu with setfsb to 2 GHz i dont play league of legends as a computer with 2.0 GHz . I think this is due to my drivers. CAN I UPDATE THEM TO HD OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT? IF I UPDATE TO WINDOWS 7 I WILL HAVE BETTER GRAPHICS.. ANY SUPPORT?

what tempatures do u get on urs ? i oc'ed myne too with fsb and gma booster . But i also added coper shims to my cooler to help it cool off better . I get 45 to 50c at idle and around 70 at full load .

@cisco760ca - nice, i got around the same, not bad temps though considering the cooler for the atom is the actual tray underneath the keyboard. i think i got around 50 - 70 when doing some seriouse HD rendering depending on room temps.

@Szymucha94 - the only hardware difference? its totally a different platform, and its allot faster than the older atom processors. PLUS the GMA 3150 is faster than the GMA 950! THATS why it runs faster than my "old" Netbook!

Your not really overclocking the GMA 950 to 400mhz, thats it original speed, it was just lowered fore more battery. Overclocking is when its at 401mhz (: lol!

@ThisLadChanny - iv just recently discovered that when i used setfsb to overclock the cpu, its also overclocking the GMA as it performs better than when im using gmabooster.

you need to turn the draw distance down on GTA so your game runs alot smoother XD

i think my 12" netbook is better atom 330 2x1,6 ghz and nvdia ion i can play cod6 and left 4 dead gta4.. with 20 to 40 frames ahahah ;-)

Btw what are you setting,s of the game.For best performanse you must TURN OFF the "frame limiter" ,mip mapping & on the lowest setting,s :)

Does the clock generaitor work with eee pc 1001ha(for the cpu)?,because i,m gonna buy it soon and wan,t to clock the cpu to 2GHz

@simito96 - yeah it should work with the 1001ha as its the same revision board, and it doesnt really matter about the frame limiter in the game as its set to 30fps and the game barely reaches that o the netbook.

this is such a bad idea unless you have sufficent cooling, leaving it at 2.02 GHZ for more than 3 hours will cause the processor to melt

@AFLiu - It doesnt. besides the CPU has onboard features that will automatically terminate the power if reaches a certain temperature. i still have it overclocked at that now for the reason im rendering HD video most of the time.

Im using the program called SETFSB under the clock generator setting off ICS9LPR427AGLF for the CPU and GMABooster for the graphics.

i have the same netbook but when i try to overclock it with set fsb my monitor turns white and i have to take out the battery and restart it .

i also tried to use a modded version of eeectl and it diddnt work

could you please tell me what i could do?

@thekyriakos it's your ram. I bought some Corsair gaming memory and that's helped me overclock a lot.
