@wanded The only reason tails is really needed is when a level requires you to travel a high path without any springs. This doesn't happen very often. Fire dunk always does more damage than Thunder Shoot, and Sonic's Homing Attack does more at level two.

@FlyingSagittarius I didn't mean he was stronger physically,i meant that when he is at level 3 then hes the best character to use as his Thunder shoot can clear up most of the enemies pretty quickly and also from a safe distance,if you play with him its a lot easier to not get hurt or die unlike Sonic that always falls and Knuckles who usually gets hurt on mob attacks XP

@MaddZekrom999 I think it's because the GC ver ions of Sonic game are usually better AND sell better than on any other consoles. According to Nintendo Power, Sonic Riders sold more copies on the GC then on the PS2 and Xbox COMBINED. It's also possible that the ports are better, IMO. I own the PS2 and GC version of this game, and the GC version feels....Faster.

Can't say anything about the Xbox version, though. Don't own it.

@Daluigi207 lol thats probably because the GC is actually stronger then the ps2 with a graphical processor of 167 Mhz, the PS2's has 143 Mhz. It also has a main processor of 485 Mhz, the PS2's has one of 299 Mhz. The only problem about it, though, is that its processor is 32 bit, the PS2 has a 64 bit processor. Despite that, the Gamecube's hardware is still pretty powerful for its time.
