This song isn't that bad. Funky, not quite the usual Queen style, but Queen always liked to vere off on different styles. The next track on the album though is an absolute gem.
I love this song..I was lucky enough to see Queen live a few times..'77 '78 and '82..they just blew me away every time!! Pure Genius..4 Amazing Men..this group never disapointed..Freddie Mercury..perfect voice..beautiful, sexy..sweet! Brian May master of the guitar..Roger Taylor great drummer..John Deacon..loved his bass..everyone an amazing songwriter...what a perfect combination..I miss your presence Farrokh Bulsara..you were a gift..This song is your legacy..will always be a fan!!
the ideas are there but this sounds like a poor version of "another one bites the dust". it's still listenable compared to most other songs (it's queen) but "anotherone bites the dust" shows that this type of music is awesome
Brilliant track - just gotta dance and so very uplifting - love the guitar groove and funky drums and the dual freddie and roger vocals. "Fight from the Inside" (from News of the World) is similar - and even better than this track IMHO.
ok guys i have been a queen fan since i was 10 , i remember this song from the album and i thought hmmmm awsome bass, ! if you listen to it today on vinyl through a good hi fi set up its somethin else that big rippin bass line oh yeh love it !!!!!
I am personally a die hard QUEEN fan so I dont see how some people can say that a QUEEN song is garbage. but thats totally just my opinion. I like this song, but I like all their songs. It's very catchy. it's a song I dont mind getting stuck in my head.
OK, so it's 'catchy yet crappy' but not a 'TOTAL garbage'. Unless of course you're one of those narrow-minded people who think 'everything that isn't rock' or for worse 'everything that isn't prog rock is total garbage'... There are people like that...
Nah, I love all kinds of music, and I'm actually more of a classical fan than a rock fan. I think it's awesome that Queen were so diverse, I just think this song was a failure.

It starts like "Billie Jean". Maybe Michael Jackson has cribbed this intro? ;)

@biodegradacja Queen's Hot Space album greatly influence Michael Jackson's Thriller album.

@TheBiggsMafia Maybe. But you're wrong - 'Fun it' is from Jazz, not from Hot Space.

@biodegradacja I know. Im saying that Queen's music has influenced MJ.

One of the queen's worst song, along with body language.
MrCondorAvenue 9 months ago
@MrCondorAvenue I used to not like it. but it grew on me after I listened to it a few times.
vitamincity 9 months ago
@MrCondorAvenue I seem to be one of the few people who actually liked Body Language, I disliked Headlong more. I like this song though.
bigedf 9 months ago
@bigedf I reckon Body Language is groovy too!!! For mine it was one of the best tracks on Hotspace after Under pressure and Put out the fire

@natso2001 I agree completely! Those are my three favorite songs off of Hot Space!

don't let the 'euro-disco' thing throw you. this is one of their best -crafted, swingingest songs -that's saying something!

Why are all photos in the end from 1980 (The Game-era)? I have noticed that on other Jazz videos you uploaded. Just curious

You contradict yourself, if it's catchy, it cannot be a total garbage...

No, I think something can be catchy yet crappy, there's a ton of songs like that out there.
