This song can be very happy and very sad at the same time and that's why it should be loved.

I don't get the bashing. Yes, it doesn't live up to Gene Wilder- anyone who loves this song knows that- but it was a lovely and proper rendition and stayed close to true of the original. Beautiful job Glee, I enjoyed it and it touched my heart.

@thegoldyshow i know it seems like they just pick random popular songs and cover them, but if you watch the covers within the context of the show then they make much more sense and seem to belong there. The people on the show never compare their versions to the original, they merely express that the songs they sing best exemplify the emotions they aren't developmentally ready (since they are children) to share.
