I am actually crying. Due to nostalgia. I grew up with these shows. And havent seen any pieces of these TV shows since they were on. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for putting these "clips-promos-advertisements-main title themes" of these 1960s and 1970s TV shows. -Paul
This is the only upload I've seen anywhere with the show Primus. It appears to be completely forgotten. I'd love to see a full episode. Remember the life support noise on the sub? A sort of wop-wop-wop-wop wah-doodle-oddle-oddle sound. No seriously, that's what it sounded like.
Hi Alley Cat again!! Do you have other parts of the instrumental breaks from Primus?i probably like yourself love music and if it catches my ear- instrumental music just enquiring and hope someone else read this and assist thanks Gerry.
@gerry0302 That's another interesting question. I get them from people who do the same kind of thing (sorta) as I do and have collections but they're all over the place and I don't really keep track of exactly were I get each one. You can try doing a search on YouTube for TV, Primus, 1971, and maybe use Robert Brown's name. It was syndicated or I'd tell you the network.
Hey Alley Cat 62021 , If you can please!! please!! please!! upload Primus on you tube or even one show i used to love it. Shame the series didn't last very long
@gerry0302 Sorry, gerry. I don't keep full episodes of any show, just the intros (when I can find them). I run a game site for guessing the shows, so need only the clue info to post.
The "New Dick Van Dyke Show" opening would have been from the 1973-74 season, after the Prestons moved from Phoenix, where Dick hosted a local television talk show, to Tarzana, CA, to star in the soap opera "Those Who Care."
Masterpiece Theatre's theme tune must have been sampled on Sly & Robbie's 'Boops' - I recognised the tune!

The Electric Company also premiered in 1971. It ran from October 25 of that year until April 15, 1977.

@tvtimetravel I never understood why The Electric Company did not have the longevity of Sesame Street. I used to love The Electric Company.
