16 trillion? youre saying the fed lent out more than usa entire gdp, fucking idiots. actual value is 1.1 trillion, which has been counted ten times over! you realize that this 16 trillion doesnt adjust for double counting right?if bank borrow 10 billion, pay it back, then borrow 10 billion again, its counted as 20 billion when it still the same 10 billion dollar! use your brain.
check out politifact, they expose ron pauls lies!!
@RCK62Here Well, the president has to sign all of those bills into law, or they have to get more votes than they will be able to get. so yeah ron paul plans using the power of the president that was given to the president by the constitution to mandate changes in our policies.
Everytime money is printed by the fed every single american citizen is essentially taxed by inflation. Only they can do it behind closed doors and hide it from us. Ron paul can eliminate the irs cut taxes make the government much smaller but the reality is nothing will change unless we end the fed. im glad ron paul understands that and that is why he is getting my vote.
Every time Ron Paul SPEAKS McCain squirms in his chair. McCain then gets nominated and chooses Palin. How stupid are politicians and the American people? We are raised to be stupid to remain enslaved much like Fredrick Douglas discusses in his autobiography in regards to real slavery. The price of freedom is an education people.
As President of the United States Barack Obama’s actions have - Threatened the U.S. Constitution - Weakened Americas Defenses - Encouraged our Enemies - Irritated our closest Allies - Moved us towards Socialism - Increased our Budget Deficit - Increased our National Debt - Weakened our Economy - Trivialized the War on Terror - Failed to meet all Promises
Romeny and McCain laughing about what he was saying is the best part, the icing on the cake. I pray that the 2012 election is not another typical Republican vs Democrat or "Them versus Us!" type thing. Americans do have that football mentality down pat, though.
RON PAUL is what America needs. Ron Paul is still trying to get his message across no matter how many times he was laughed at, or put down. He is like the Thomas Jefferson of today. He could have easily given up...but he didn't. This is the kind of person we need for president...not another robot only caring for themselves. RON PAUL 2012!!!
RON PAUL, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER! TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE HOW EXACTLY RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? OK LETS SAY ALL TROOPS CAME BACK AND THEN WHAT? THEY ARE GOING TO SELL IPHONES AND BLACKBERRIES? DUDE BE A MEN, HOW RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B CHINESE WORK LIKE ROBOTS, BE HONEST TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE TO BUY UR BOOK U NEED CASH , U LOVE POWER, U LOVE CASH, U WILL NEVER CREATE JOBS, U HAVE NO ANSWER!
I love this yopu tube post, especially the Network clips. I remembered that debate and that exact moment. As I recall, there was a social issue about abortion or something, and RP gave it about 5 seconds and said, "that is not what is really important, what is important is what the federal reserve is doing." I thought that they were thinking, he is wasting his time. Well, Ron Paul has our attention now. I give him his due. Paul is like Churchill railing against the appeasers.
Paul was clearly wrong. I too predicted the economic collapse, but not from the Fed's actions. George W. Bush, I predicted, in my first book - The Nazi Paradigm - would collapse the American economy the same way his predecessors collapsed it - with the biggest tax cut for the rich and biggest military build-up in world history. In the process, Bush diverted 12 trillion dollars from the middle class.
I keep yelling, HE WAS FRIGGIN RIGHT ABOUT ALL THIS!! No one else saw it but him, This is my only choice for the 2012 race. If he does not get the GOP Nomination I will write him in. I vote on principle. I laugh everytime they attack Palin, Romney, Bachman and ignore this guy,
@SIGN666 Whats unfair about owning the capital you create and conducting voluntary exchange. And what do you mean capitalism is failing. We have never had capitalism. It has to first be for it to fail. You must be refering to corporatism, which is often mistaken for capitalism but very much opossed by it. Most all politicians are corporatists, its where they get the money and power base to get elected. Ron Paul rejects corporatism, its why lobbyists don't bother going to his office.

American voters need to wake up but man I really don't know - people are so easily manipulated. They're sheep in so many ways. Or they just don't care until it really affects them. We just need to be there when they finally realize this is all an illusion to point them in the right direction.

Agreed, however your still wrong about the fascism thing.
I can see you dismantaling all them wheel chair ramps to government buildings now. LOL Can't be taxing people to help them lazy asses in wheelchairs.
I guess the Democrat is right if you are dieing with no insurance die quickly under a pure capitalist system. Wonder if the founding fathers would at least dish out for a bullet to put them out of their misery quickly, or were the founding fathers just cheap?
look at every implementation of socialist and facsist policies
and thier results for citzens standard of living
and liberity in the past 100 years you'll see i'm right.
ahy so before the modern welfare state there was no charity? wheel chair ramps and other such things could be paid for by STATE taxes on bussniess not Federal taxes on individuals.
LOL, the US in the largest known mostly capitalist society funded a 1% population with more wealth than the bottom 95%. How you ask? By putting the bottom half of the population in absolute debt up to their eyeballs. Median wages aren't keeping up with "Free Market" prices in the form of inflation. Meanwhile the people that benefit the most from free market keep trying to sell us the Walmart sticker of free trade & globalism. It's unfortunate people can't see the forest through the trees.
The insurance system is the problem. Free markets (or at least freer markets) have driven down the cost of every major commodity that nations have a need for yet things like healthcare and education, things that the goverment have had their hands in heavily for the better part of 50 years have risen in cost. Think of it as a proccesing problem how can a few thousand elites have the proccesing power of millions of rational agents? they can't.
These rational agents (retailers) have bought chinese goods to bring costs down, therefor reduced the need for manufacturing in our own country. Silly silly. Tsk Tsk.
It's the key words like "optimising profits" because of "high labour" costs, therefor move it to Mexico type of thinking that is shooting this economy in the head. Scams like short term profits by selling mortgages to people that can't afford them, when they default you claim the insurance money. Crazy stuff...
HIGH LABOR COSTS!!? those cost resulted from the very socialists sytem you are supporting!!! Minium wage laws and labor unions have raised the cost of labor higher than the level the market supports. that's why companies have been out sourcing to mexico, china and india. The sub prime loan crisis is was the reflection of the fed system were money that doesn't exsist can be pulled out of thin air and be given as a loan. the fed is a socialist system.. those problems were caused by socialism.
AND thats totally agreeable with me. Unions support local businesses with their high wages. The high cost of labour Im sure wont prevent you from buying a new car. Since shipping the plants down to mexico have you noticed a decrease in the prices of vehicles. Of course not. Its absorbed by share holders and upper management. silly silly. The fed is a socialist system. LOL silly silly. Who is the fed taxing. LOL Its privately owned. It is not accountable to governent in any right now
yes they give back so much. which is why detroit is doing so well right now....most union laborers travel little of the money they make stays in the area it was made. unions do nothing but take one man/woman and give them wages of two or three people in essence they steal the living wage of other individuals which drives the outsourcing your speak of. the fed does impose a tax. what do you think happens when they create more money? the fed is the result of the merger of govt. and busniess.
The unions broke Detroit? You have a twisted sense of humour. LOL GM and Ford "made" money for years and years. It was mismanagement that broke GM. They certainly aren't hurting if they have a nice corporate jet to hurl them off to Washington for a bailout.
GM union workers aren't socialist, government unions are in my opinion. Private union just organizes to look after the worker, just as a company looks after the company.
ha ha good point, and when the man asked the question in the hearing,, who flew coach here,, that right there,, was the billion dollar question, why these bailouts for the people who deserve it least,, i say of all of the billions given why not to we the people ? this money could have been divided to the people who paid, maybe the economy would have a different outcome?? i dont know, just a thought, mine is better than rewarding FAILURE AGAIN AND AGAIN DAMN IT
I'm not in favor of anyone getting free money unless it is proven they've been screwed over by an engineered collapse. (which this is) I totally agree that the public should get the money over banks and executives. The only bad part about it is it causes inflation and taxes a future generation which the average person would lose sleep over. I'm sure executives would not lose any sleep over it sadly. It's not workers and their supposedly high wages that are the problem here, it's the execs.
in essence they are taxing you by devauling your money. as for the price difference yes there is one. look at the price diffrence between forgien ie non union auto makers and domestic ie union ones. The upper level absobtion of profits is part of the money for nothing system. in a free market a company couldn't be so wasteful with it's income. The savings of a company will never be completly reflected in price. there has to be a profit level.
Of course they do. They are devalueing the money bailing out the capitalist banks you speak of. The capitalist banks went to government (what happened to government staying out of business?), and asked for a bailout or they'll break the economy. Capitalism allowed them to monopolize so huge that they could collapse the economy with their shadow capitalist investments.
ok you agree with me then but the confusion you seem to have is in thinking that the bailout of the private sector is some how releated to a free market. system. You're right those corporations had no probleme in taking the bailouts the point i'm making is that in a free market system the bailouts would have never taken place to begin with. part of the power of the system is that it forces comapnies to undergo a darwian selection process. when you bail them out you're rewarding bad policies.
free market capitialism would allowed those companies to fail and the market to correct its self. The social capitiaist policies we have now are the reason behind the bailout. They spin the idea to the public that they are protecting jobs and share holders and of course the corporatists know their greedy asses are covered. that's the point i'm making about socialism and facism. they always sell the idea that it is for the greater good but in the end it's the elites that profit.
I'm sorry I don't believe in anything you are saying. Inheritance to lazy kids of vastly rich parents, and these kids can affect the outcome economies in a market based system. It's flawed. I'm not going to go through the boom and bust cycle each time the market needs to correct itself. Businesses suffer and so do workers. The elite don't. If you don't see the effect of what the WTO is having on the US, then I can't help you much. The darwian selection has selected communist China.
The boom and bust cycle has nothing to do with a free market. it's the feds effect on the market that has caused the boom and bust cycle. I don't not what your point is about lazy rich kids. in a system were the elites control the production of the people(see socialism and facism) dumb vastly powerful members of the upper crust can control the market. As for china the chinese economic "boom" is only the result of Beijing loosing it's strangle hold on production and allowing a more free market...
Silly silly. Rich kids get their education handed to them. Rich kids slide into business. How is that so different than a country paying for poor kids to get an education. Your just silly silly tsk tsk. Look at all the depression recessions that happened "while" the US was on the gold standard and didn't have a Fed Reserve. You need to do more reading.
rich kids get their education from universities same as poor kids. if they don't do what is expected from the in those universities they fail same as poor kids. it's "handed to them" paid for them by parents that have used their wealth to benifit their offspring. why should my wealth go to benifit the children of others agianst my will??? what depressiolns!!!!???? the fed was created December 23, 1913 the economy never hit a real slump untill after its creation.
What is comes down to is I don't think a corner of society should horde the capital in it, no matter what sense of self entitlement they have. Play monopoly some time. It doesn't work.
I'm sorry but I'm finished chatting, I'm wasting my time. I now of many depressions. Don't confuse the "great depression" as the only one. There were many do a search on the 1893 depression.
entitlement?? everyone should be entitled to keep what they earn and not have it redistributed to others agianst their will. the panic of 1893 was mainly caused by the Sherman silver purchase act and was corrected in one year by the market. which had real value due to gold and silver backing. they're will always be up and down turns in the market. but those past bubbles are nothing compared what is being generated by the fed system. it's been nice chatting with you i hope you learned something.
system and even then compare the standard of living for the averge modern prc citizen has NOW compared to what those in the roc have experienced for years. Even their current position wouldn't have been possible if not for wage laws and fed credit scams driving US and European(to a lesser extent) out sourcing. If the US had stuck to a sound money policy and a truly free market non corporatist/non keynesian system then the out look for red china would be very different now.
Your confused on what socialism is, yes it is left leaning like a far left communism, much like fascism is right leaning like capitalism. Capitalism actually benefits the corporate elite in this fascist state. The US is the largest capitalist nation on earth with very little socialism before the financial crisis of 08', it was all about making money. We'll see what happens in the coming years to a market with key regulation that was articulately taken out to cause the collapse.
Again, Socialism has nothing to do with making the rich richer, that is fascism which is closer to capitalism than it is to socialism. Giving money to rich private bankers and calling it socialism is akin to taxing money from a private company and calling it Capitalism. People keep saying "don't blame capitalism", I'm saying "don't blame socialism" either. It's corruption that is the problem.
Google GM and Ford Fascist connections in World War 2. They worked both sides of the war. In the US and in Nazi Germany. GM tried sueing the allies for bombing their facilities. The combination of state and corporation is known as facism, has absolutely nothing to do with socialism. Socialism is just something the extremely rich fear. Fascism is something 95% of the common public should fear. Read the Patriot Act, it's scary, and much like a fascist state in its makeup.
Whoa whoa now. What we have today is not capitalism. With capitalism you have FREELY FLOATING interest rates, not ones set by a group of men in a marble palace. And also, favors granted by the government is CORPORATISM not CAPITALISM. You're giving capitalism a bad name. We are far from capitalism.
Nah, your wrong. Funny how capitalists are quick to point out a corrupt socialism system however can't accept when capitalism has been corrupted. Regardless a population with 1% having most of the wealth is unsustainable in any system unless you are looking for a serf system.
No. The socialistic system is inherently corrupt even before greedy people get their tentacles wrapped around it. Think about it, you are essentially letting other people, ie: politicians decide who and what wins and loses in a market system. This ALWAYS leads to rationing, wars and a much lower standard of living. Capitalism is not inherently corrupt. It's the people who let it get that way because most of us are zombies perfectly happy with our Ipods and American Idol.
Socialism and capitalism have nothing to do with it. Left wingers like calling it capitalism and right wingers like calling it socialism for obvious reasons. It's really fascism. Capitalism believes in earning capital in an honest way and socialism has nothing to do with making the rich richer. Someone saying otherwise is just deluded and biased.
Socialism would be about upwards to 40% of the private sector owned by the government. We are heading PAST that if we go to government run healthcare. So, in effect, this country is approaching communism... or fascism (corporate and government merged together)..
It's bad, I'd stop laughing and try to do something about it if I were you.
You are completely right. All these people that say capitalism is pure is crazy stuff. Many "private" companies canvas government for contracts of which they double their contracts once they get them to finish the job. These same hypocrits love capitalism in the form that they can take the profits, however they love tax money when they can get easy money. Lobbying should be a felony, both the politician, bureacrat, and the lobbyist and company contact should get a 10 year minimum in prison.

Think of it as a proccesing problem how can a few thousand elites have the proccesing power of millions of rational agents? they can't.
cdj0 2 years ago
These rational agents (retailers) have bought chinese goods to bring costs down, therefor reduced the need for manufacturing in our own country. Silly silly. Tsk Tsk.
It's the key words like "optimising profits" because of "high labour" costs, therefor move it to Mexico type of thinking that is shooting this economy in the head. Scams like short term profits by selling mortgages to people that can't afford them, when they default you claim the insurance money. Crazy stuff...
Dean0000007 2 years ago
HIGH LABOR COSTS!!? those cost resulted from the very socialists sytem you are supporting!!! Minium wage laws and labor unions have raised the cost of labor higher than the level the market supports. that's why companies have been out sourcing to mexico, china and india. The sub prime loan crisis is was the reflection of the fed system were money that doesn't exsist can be pulled out of thin air and be given as a loan. the fed is a socialist system.. those problems were caused by socialism.
cdj0 2 years ago
AND thats totally agreeable with me. Unions support local businesses with their high wages. The high cost of labour Im sure wont prevent you from buying a new car. Since shipping the plants down to mexico have you noticed a decrease in the prices of vehicles. Of course not. Its absorbed by share holders and upper management. silly silly. The fed is a socialist system. LOL silly silly. Who is the fed taxing. LOL Its privately owned. It is not accountable to governent in any right now
Dean0000007 2 years ago
yes they give back so much. which is why detroit is doing so well right now....most union laborers travel little of the money they make stays in the area it was made. unions do nothing but take one man/woman and give them wages of two or three people in essence they steal the living wage of other individuals which drives the outsourcing your speak of. the fed does impose a tax. what do you think happens when they create more money? the fed is the result of the merger of govt. and busniess.
cdj0 2 years ago
The unions broke Detroit? You have a twisted sense of humour. LOL GM and Ford "made" money for years and years. It was mismanagement that broke GM. They certainly aren't hurting if they have a nice corporate jet to hurl them off to Washington for a bailout.
GM union workers aren't socialist, government unions are in my opinion. Private union just organizes to look after the worker, just as a company looks after the company.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
ha ha good point, and when the man asked the question in the hearing,, who flew coach here,, that right there,, was the billion dollar question, why these bailouts for the people who deserve it least,, i say of all of the billions given why not to we the people ? this money could have been divided to the people who paid, maybe the economy would have a different outcome?? i dont know, just a thought, mine is better than rewarding FAILURE AGAIN AND AGAIN DAMN IT
drummingfordrunks 2 years ago
I'm not in favor of anyone getting free money unless it is proven they've been screwed over by an engineered collapse. (which this is) I totally agree that the public should get the money over banks and executives. The only bad part about it is it causes inflation and taxes a future generation which the average person would lose sleep over. I'm sure executives would not lose any sleep over it sadly. It's not workers and their supposedly high wages that are the problem here, it's the execs.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
in essence they are taxing you by devauling your money. as for the price difference yes there is one. look at the price diffrence between forgien ie non union auto makers and domestic ie union ones. The upper level absobtion of profits is part of the money for nothing system. in a free market a company couldn't be so wasteful with it's income. The savings of a company will never be completly reflected in price. there has to be a profit level.
cdj0 2 years ago
Of course they do. They are devalueing the money bailing out the capitalist banks you speak of. The capitalist banks went to government (what happened to government staying out of business?), and asked for a bailout or they'll break the economy. Capitalism allowed them to monopolize so huge that they could collapse the economy with their shadow capitalist investments.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
ok you agree with me then but the confusion you seem to have is in thinking that the bailout of the private sector is some how releated to a free market. system. You're right those corporations had no probleme in taking the bailouts the point i'm making is that in a free market system the bailouts would have never taken place to begin with. part of the power of the system is that it forces comapnies to undergo a darwian selection process. when you bail them out you're rewarding bad policies.
cdj0 2 years ago
free market capitialism would allowed those companies to fail and the market to correct its self. The social capitiaist policies we have now are the reason behind the bailout. They spin the idea to the public that they are protecting jobs and share holders and of course the corporatists know their greedy asses are covered. that's the point i'm making about socialism and facism. they always sell the idea that it is for the greater good but in the end it's the elites that profit.
cdj0 2 years ago
I'm sorry I don't believe in anything you are saying. Inheritance to lazy kids of vastly rich parents, and these kids can affect the outcome economies in a market based system. It's flawed. I'm not going to go through the boom and bust cycle each time the market needs to correct itself. Businesses suffer and so do workers. The elite don't. If you don't see the effect of what the WTO is having on the US, then I can't help you much. The darwian selection has selected communist China.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
The boom and bust cycle has nothing to do with a free market. it's the feds effect on the market that has caused the boom and bust cycle. I don't not what your point is about lazy rich kids. in a system were the elites control the production of the people(see socialism and facism) dumb vastly powerful members of the upper crust can control the market. As for china the chinese economic "boom" is only the result of Beijing loosing it's strangle hold on production and allowing a more free market...
cdj0 2 years ago
Silly silly. Rich kids get their education handed to them. Rich kids slide into business. How is that so different than a country paying for poor kids to get an education. Your just silly silly tsk tsk. Look at all the depression recessions that happened "while" the US was on the gold standard and didn't have a Fed Reserve. You need to do more reading.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
rich kids get their education from universities same as poor kids. if they don't do what is expected from the in those universities they fail same as poor kids. it's "handed to them" paid for them by parents that have used their wealth to benifit their offspring. why should my wealth go to benifit the children of others agianst my will??? what depressiolns!!!!???? the fed was created December 23, 1913 the economy never hit a real slump untill after its creation.
cdj0 2 years ago
As I said you need to do more reading. LOL
Dean0000007 2 years ago
entitlement?? everyone should be entitled to keep what they earn and not have it redistributed to others agianst their will. the panic of 1893 was mainly caused by the Sherman silver purchase act and was corrected in one year by the market. which had real value due to gold and silver backing. they're will always be up and down turns in the market. but those past bubbles are nothing compared what is being generated by the fed system. it's been nice chatting with you i hope you learned something.
cdj0 2 years ago
system and even then compare the standard of living for the averge modern prc citizen has NOW compared to what those in the roc have experienced for years. Even their current position wouldn't have been possible if not for wage laws and fed credit scams driving US and European(to a lesser extent) out sourcing. If the US had stuck to a sound money policy and a truly free market non corporatist/non keynesian system then the out look for red china would be very different now.

Call it Communism or Socialism, it definitely wasn't freedom or capitalism!
roseagain2 2 years ago
Your confused on what socialism is, yes it is left leaning like a far left communism, much like fascism is right leaning like capitalism. Capitalism actually benefits the corporate elite in this fascist state. The US is the largest capitalist nation on earth with very little socialism before the financial crisis of 08', it was all about making money. We'll see what happens in the coming years to a market with key regulation that was articulately taken out to cause the collapse.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
Again, Socialism has nothing to do with making the rich richer, that is fascism which is closer to capitalism than it is to socialism. Giving money to rich private bankers and calling it socialism is akin to taxing money from a private company and calling it Capitalism. People keep saying "don't blame capitalism", I'm saying "don't blame socialism" either. It's corruption that is the problem.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
Google GM and Ford Fascist connections in World War 2. They worked both sides of the war. In the US and in Nazi Germany. GM tried sueing the allies for bombing their facilities. The combination of state and corporation is known as facism, has absolutely nothing to do with socialism. Socialism is just something the extremely rich fear. Fascism is something 95% of the common public should fear. Read the Patriot Act, it's scary, and much like a fascist state in its makeup.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
Whoa whoa now. What we have today is not capitalism. With capitalism you have FREELY FLOATING interest rates, not ones set by a group of men in a marble palace. And also, favors granted by the government is CORPORATISM not CAPITALISM. You're giving capitalism a bad name. We are far from capitalism.
jsickel2 2 years ago
Nah, your wrong. Funny how capitalists are quick to point out a corrupt socialism system however can't accept when capitalism has been corrupted. Regardless a population with 1% having most of the wealth is unsustainable in any system unless you are looking for a serf system.
Dean0000007 2 years ago
@Dean0000007
It's the people who let it get that way because most of us are zombies perfectly happy with our Ipods and American Idol.
acjitsu 1 year ago 2
@acjitsu
Dean0000007 1 year ago
@Dean0000007 somebody actually gets it
DRisLegend200919 11 months ago
Socialism would be about upwards to 40% of the private sector owned by the government. We are heading PAST that if we go to government run healthcare. So, in effect, this country is approaching communism... or fascism (corporate and government merged together)..
It's bad, I'd stop laughing and try to do something about it if I were you.
radiospirit 2 years ago
You are completely right. All these people that say capitalism is pure is crazy stuff. Many "private" companies canvas government for contracts of which they double their contracts once they get them to finish the job. These same hypocrits love capitalism in the form that they can take the profits, however they love tax money when they can get easy money. Lobbying should be a felony, both the politician, bureacrat, and the lobbyist and company contact should get a 10 year minimum in prison.
