they do sound quite similar.on this video leonas is live wheras whitneys aint. no1 will ever beat whitney but leona comes pretty damn close. vocally she is up there with the greats.she has power like whitney and hits high notes like mariah. she is the best voice to be discovered in the 21st century and she is this generations whitney. one day she will be known as one of the best voices ever like whitney and mariah are now.

They are totally different generations. Leona was born after Whitney released her first album. Leona is only at the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" phase of her career, and Leona is still five years away from the Bodyguard phase. Plus, her success is more UK-based whereas Whitney is more US-based with a strong international presence.
