It's a fact that for the past 100,000 years, it has been too cold to snow in Antarctica.
It's actually been one of the driest continents on earth. When it does, of course, it accumulates.
Anyway, it has not been exceptionally cold in the Northeast of the USA this winter.
Just exceptionally moist. That's due to melting glaciers increasing moisture that gets dumped on lower latitudes.

When it's raining and my cats want out I don't let them see outside, I leave the blinds down and open the door just a little. My cats run out blindly, freakout, then slide back in...It's best when I get all 3 to do it together. Try it sometime lol.

Rita and Shelia certainly have a mind of their own. Maybe if they had their earmuffs and mittens they would have been more willing to enjoy the snow.
