@alejandraale2009 It is not something you learn overnight, I would start by buying a good wacom tablet and start watching a pile of youtube tutorials on photoshop. Look up photorealism vids :)

The one on the right has the white highlights on the left side of the apple, but the darker side is still also on the left side of the apple while is should be on the opposite side of the lit area. Left apple wins, paint-over without art 101 on right loses.

For those complaining about it ruining your jobs, well unless all you do is paint still life then you have nothing to worry about. If you're gonna paint a dragon, your employer wouldn't be able to find a dragon to photograph and paint over. Most of these tools already existed in CS4 but were harder to work with. Blending was possible since photoshop 5.

What I am afraid of though is that it's going to be abused and we're going to see tons of "paintings" around the net soon. :(

One thing about the new CS5 is that the people who actually worked hard learning the things they have spending years on the software, now any fool can do it without any skill at all.. thats good for everyone else but fucked up for us cuz nobodys gonna pay us much anymore lol

@geniusjas87 Idiot, I've been doing photoshop for 4 years, The main purpose of photoshop is to allow photo editing and to make it easier... You're not going to get paid as much but it's going to be easier and faster I doubt you could get any work because your spelling is shit. Real photoshop pros adapt to new tools and become photoshop 'gods', Not sit around and bitch. If you think updates and new tools are bad then go back to CS1.

@geniusjas87 think about it this way, your skills are still there. if anything, you're not having to spend tons of your time doing silly things because you had poor tools. these new tools in cs5 is meant to save time, frustration, and energy.

anways, if the majority of someone's photoshop talent was in learning how to work with arcane tools anyways, that's not really a skill, that's just route memorization. any monkey can learn that.
