Great video! This reminds of when I told my friends that my BMI is considered obese. They wouldn't believe, and were like, "there's no way you're obese!" They were basically implying "but you're too nice to be obese." Ugh I hate that! Guess what, I am obese and I am a normal person and your friend. I HATE that fat and obese are seen as negative terms, rather than descriptive.
Being morbidly obese is different, but you, me, and many other women are nowhere near that label, never will be, and have to live in fear of being judged.
It doesn't have to be about us persuading people to be friends with us or find us attractive. I'd be happy enough with acceptance and being treated as a good person.

good vid....i was having an interchange with this guy on my friend's FB page where he tried to call me a hypocrite for referring to the way "fat chicks" are treated on tv, saying that we were only half offended because we used that term. i told him that "fat chick" is descriptive and HE was the one assigning all the negative connotations. he told me that using that term is the equivalent of calling a black person "the N word" (he's white) im like, wow, really? is it THAT deep? apparently so....
