  • er war genial !!

  • king of groove!

  • Quite simply the best

  • DOES ANYBODY KNOWS THE NAME OF THE SONG??? ALGUIEN SABE COMO SE LLAMA LA CANCION???

  • It's fantastic

  • Woow : O niiiiice

  • I have nothing but love for Purdie and Bonham...but Parcaro is the master with that super tight hi-hat shuffle.

  • Jeff was and still is the greatist. Do your freaking homework before you go to school. Also Jeff learned from his dad who is a left handed player.

  • Jeff Porcaro was Amazing!!

  • Jeff not only anchored TOTO (which he co founded with Paich), but he backed Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, Dolly Parton, Hoyt Axton, Warren Zevon and a thousand others. To say that he had no chops? That's bogus. WATCH this---there is ELEGANCE, GRACE and STYLE that comes of 20 years' playing. I am a beginner and I miss his sound FIERCELY. A true Master at the Gift God handed him. Our loss.

  • rrdrums110, you are a complete idiot , in fact im lost for words. jeff was one of the classiest players ever.

  • Excellent playing....

  • left hand yeah sure thing.

  • Easy to smoke this dude's ass.

  • Still trollin'? lol

  • i don't know man. just because jeff played a simple groove doesn' mean he can't play. dude had chops. try sitting down and play mushanga or roseanna. his guitar player even said that he heard jeff warming up doing a solo before rehearsal, and begged to give him a drum solo in the concert. jeff wouldn't do it. according to a lot of studio drummers, jeff had an incredible left hand on the drums. so you might want to rethink your statement.

  • @rrdrums110 what a shitty comment to make! man, if jeff was still here, he'd kick your ass on the drums. i don't evenknow how you play, but i know he'd smoke YOUR ass!

  • Virgil Donati Danny careyIan paice so smoke this studio session joker.

  • Everyone has the right to their own opinion. However, some opinions are best kept to those who author them. Jeff Porcaro has inspired a multitude of musicians from all around the world. He has played with Toto, Michael Jackson, and Steely Dan. His musicality ranges from jazz to rock, to r&b. Jeff Porcaro was a genius in every sense of the word and its a shame that you don't have either the sense or appreciation to appreciate that.

  • @rrdrums110 your not a real drummer if your criticize the playing of Jeff Porcaro!

  • sounds simple but its not really...Jeff is truly one of the best

  • @rrdrums110 .... haha ... you are a fucking lunatic .... I want to know what year is the cutoff point for you ... i mean , you only like joe morello , buddy rich , louie bellson etc etc ... so what is , like 1965 or so ... anything after that you consider lazy .

  • bueno y q stoy diciendo yo ps? ¬¬

  • Unbelievable, the man was incredible

  • the GROOVE

    those GHOST NOTE

    the FEEL...

    now this is drumming!

    J.P....is exceptional (u r being missed)

  • this sounds like the beginnings of Pamela

  • I am quite sure this is a slight variation on Pamela. The man can groove is all I say!

  • RIP Jeff Porcaro....the world misses your groove.

  • Man what a GROOVE. The way his body swings to the music you can tell that this guy was a 100% heart and soul.

  • this is my The favourite drummer

  • Man, Porcaro is the groove master. Also, he ghosted like no one else.

  • I dont know man Garibaldi might have him on the ghosts.

  • The closing of this song is very cool....with all those ghost notes that Jeff do with left end !!

  • when he hit that groove, it just made me smile. What a drummer!!

    RIP

  • This is just brilliant. I love Jeff's attitude and ease of motion. Check out MIKE's own playing--they were an unbeateable team. Jeff was a master craftsman. This just makes ya wanna MOVE.

  • Jeff Porcaro was always the best and always will be the best! End of story! No other drummer in the world can match his precision and quality of playing. Unbeatable!

  • this is so true.

  • Jeff Porcaro was friggin' amazing...

  • I love this guys style...not a toto fan but everything I've seen this guy do has been amazing. RIP.

  • Jeff a ojos cerrados...saludos

  • This is the demonstration of the groove "Pamela" (The Seventh One,1988).

  • SI TIENES RAZON AMIGO GRACIAS

  • This is NOT "Pamela". Not even close. It's just these guys--throwin' down ona Jazz ride cymbal pattern. There's nothing "Pamela" about this tune. Totally different groove.
