McCain didn't meant to lead US anyway, cuz the ones who control in things like that staged Obama already, they're all just actors guys don't roll over on command, from JFK there is no real president. and what you just watched is motivational clip of two puppets
I couldn't get the sound or the link to the widescreen version to work but I really, really want to watch it because you do such a good job with your videos. I am going to subscribe.
This is a great piece of work. I love the way you wryly unpack politics and celebrity culture. So much of politics today is nothing but a popularity competition, an exercise in identity, rather than ideas. Really well edited too - just great.
The vid's mainly just something to be funny and perhaps there isn't a deep underlying message, but I also think that the vid was kind of poking fun at how much of a circus those debates, and indeed the entire campaigns, can be. With the TV spots, magazine covers, pundits rating the candidates' performances and their appearance at every moment, etc. . . . it can quite often seem like an American Idol-esque show-down. XD
The remix is both about the media circus around US elections and also a critique of the similar positions on foreign policy and energy policy advocated by both Obama and McCain. Its also a comment on how the main stream media does not ask tough questions of US politicians, the judges on reality TV shows are much more demanding of answers than reporters in Washington.

Hmm...I disliked that both candidates were made to seem as if they were stupid and mindless. Neither are unintelligent. However, I doubt that very many people commenting on this video could make it through the Naval Academy or Harvard Law School or become a senator or president. Please...if you are going to make an argument, then make it, don't just mock our leaders. From watching this, I understand what your beliefs are, but you failed to provide arguments. That makes this video pointless.
Absolutely brilliant! Especially at 3:14 and following and at 5:23 and following, the interplay between the candidates and the critique that should be a part of the media's coverage...alas, only in fantasy. Well done. BRILLIANT! I watched it 4x! just to savor the edits and repartee.
I wonder what the view count cutoff for a video being called "gay" in the comments is? I'm impressed that you've got 11k views w/ no senselessly negative comments. Methinks there's a fun sociological experiment somewhere in here.
We do, of course, but we also have to make sure all our tactics are rooted in reality and used at the right time and place for a winning strategy. I would say that once we have about 1/3rd of the population of the US on bored with radical systemic transformation we will be in a position to win. Until then we have alot of difficult organizing to do, I think.
my sentiments EXACTLY!! obama, we expect so much more from you, and we know you can and we also know you need a fire under your feet if its going to happen
Very Cool presentation of the High Glitz, High Gloss Popularity/Gladiator Contest we call a National Election where there's little attempt to truly enlighten voters. We pretend we're citizens in a republic of participating citizens...
HOW FUN! At least till we hit the wall of the Truman Show!
Diffcult to watch this because in my opinion McCain is demented and Obama is just another clever politician who was found the ruse to excite a populace who believes we just need the right guy at the helm to cure all our social problems. Delusional of the candidates and the panel. A brilliant sendup of the hollowness of this campaign.
Both contestant's energy positions are represented accurately, both favor increases oil production, off-shore drilling, nuclear power and the myth of so called "clean coal". On foreign policy too the remix is correct, they both want an escalation via more troops in Afghanistan and strikes into Pakistan (though McCian thinks you "don't say that out loud".) They do differ on Iraq but Obama still wants a troops there for years to come, just less of them.

Very funny. Until I read the other comments, I was sure it was spoofing how the bias media acts when you dare disagree with them.
