It turns out Marcus' father is alive so they go look for him. Prescott (who also dies) gives Marcus a message after leaving the COG as to where Adam Fenix is so they find him and help him destroy the Locust and the Lambent. Adam developed a machine that destroys lambent cells and imulsion is actually a parasite which takes over life forms (as well as humans). They turn on the machine and Adam dies because he tested the cure on himself. Carmine lives. Anything else?
